Hey Roffle. Just noticed a cool interaction with pen flinger and toxmonger. The poisonous means pen flinger is an Insta kill ping. Could you maybe make a Carnassa deck with toxmonger and some spells for pen flinger? Or maybe try control hunter with pen flinger? I don’t know, your choice. Much love, thank you for the consistent fun decks and content. (Day 3 of asking)
I would like to watch a Roffle's Divinity stream on Twitch. If it ever happen please let us all know! I finished only the first one and I think the game is awesome (although have some critics as well about the end of the game and the final boss)
I really don't think this deck should run the treachery-mill package. The Grizzled Wizard-Finley combo is sketchy enough as is. Also the Brann isn't necessary, since you often end up having a huge hand anyways. Rin is a great add, I've won A LOT of game against priest with her. Just my thoughts...
@@Evan_Schaefering because the wizard combo, while easier to pull off, requires 2 pieces, while Rin only needs one. Also the wizard combo isn't an automatic win condition, while Rin usually is. Azari can be a very versatile tool against Archbishop the Shuffle Deck Guy. Also in faster matches she's a taunt, not a great one, but still a taunt, and she doesn't just sit dead in hand, while in longer matches opponents may use important resources like Zephrys to get rid of her. I personally love her, and really enjoy playing her. I just find myself wanting to fit as many cards as possible in my HL decks, so I find there's really no space for smaller combos, with dead cards in hand, like the wizard combo or the treachery combo in this case.
@@r.a.6016 I would argue that the Wizard/Finley combo is far more effective against priest than Rin. Having to play not only Rin and Azari, but also the 5 seals takes something like 5-7 turns to pull of and is a massive tempo loss. The Wizard/Finley combo removes their win condition instantly for 3 mana, and isn't that hard to find 2 cards when the match up generally goes near fatigue anyway. I don't think either the Wizard/Finley combo or Rin can be praised for their performance in faster match ups. If you can find time to spend 6 mana on a 3/6 taunt, then the game is already so far in your favor that it doesn't matter. I suppose Rin would get an edge here for being less overall dead draws but I don't know if I'd even concede that point. Grizzled Wizard is at least a 2 mana 3/2 that can contest early minions. The Wizard/Finley combo can also remove the upgraded hero power from fast decks like Odd Paladin or Odd Rogue assuming you can draw into it fast enough. Overall I think the two combos performance against aggro is equally trash. EDIT: On a side note I don't think that a cards being good agasint Benedictus is much of a positive since nobody runs that card in serious decks. Also claiming that Rin is good because it can bait out clears, while disregarding Brann, who can do the same thing for half the mana and better stats for the cost, is silly. Rin also messes up the Gul'dan pool.
@@Evan_Schaefering you make some fair points. I agree that mana wise rin is not overly efficient, and that the wizard combo is more effective against the hero power issue, however in a more control style matchup against a deck without an upgraded hero power I'd still take the Rin, and with some AOE cards you can set up said match. Yes, she does pollute the guldan res pool, that is why I only run her in my HL decks. She's a decent tempo play in slow matchups and gives you something to do with the excess mana. Also, I don't have brann, but even if I didn't idk if I'd run him, my hand is full half the time anyways. But I 100% agree, both options are fairly bad in aggro matchups, although a weak argument may be made for rin having taunt. True, no serious deck runs Benedictus, but take it from me, it's IMMENSLY satisfying to watch a priest slowly looking at their deck deplete without being able to use Benny knowing you have Azari in hand. Again, a lot of it comes down to me being a control play, and disliking having useless cards sitting in my hand, waiting for the other piece of a combo which can turn out to be more or less effective...
It's really matchup dependent. Against many slower decks (like either Renolock or Cubelock) you want to rush to the combo as Reno Priest so Wild Growth isn't unreasonable. There also just isn't much to hold Zephyrs for in those matchups.

That salty rage quit by that priest was so good xD
Finally some concede on Priest, they never concede even on fatigue!
People who do that should get at least a 10minute ban or something.
I'm a Priest main but even that made me lol.
I like when you play very inexpensive decks like this one
Just 12 legendaries.
Blizzard liked this deck 👍

Yes please! even if it doesn't work i'd like to see Roffle's reaction
Its decent but the toxmonger has to stay on board for it to full clear, and who know maybe he will
@@Mehhemo you would obvs use tox for dealing with big boards it’s not exactly a tempo play 😂
@@joshd0205 True, its sorta like the poison demon hunter in duels rn
@@Mehhemo precisely, it’s a backup plan, but I just thought it was a really cool interaction that deserved a small spotlight
26:39
That is a sweet attack sound. XD
14:18 Oh no!
14:32 Anyway
If I were the Priest, I'd probably be very, very salty tbh
I've actually been playing this exact list for a couple weeks now been loving the rage quits from Reno preist
12:26 That Tyrande has Mega-Windfury. Clearly.
18:15 that was a quite emperor
27:27 Hand space? Roffle, did you forget about good 'Ol George?
Jack and Roffle come together! My two favorite dudes on RUclips
Jrhsk8 for those that want to hop over there and subscribe
14:17 priceless
Loved the talks of Divinity while you played. its a fantastic game and was one of my favorite games of 2017
10:25 What happened to the second Zeph discover?
Good question. Hand was not full
His hand was full. The first Zeph card put it at 10. Treachery is the farthest card to the left.
@@zer0sum642 That makes a lot of sense lol
Damn a great Roffle episode to watch with college work - Brilliant!
In case, Roffle reads this, have a good day!
Thanks, you too!

Great video roffle...I’ve always wanted to play this deck but don’t feel like disenchanting my whole collection
So satisfying deck roffle good job

How does one deck do so much??? That’s the power of Warlock ig ;)
Finally, roffle bringing us a fun budget deck for new players
Never realised Tyrande became a Super Saiyan 2
Good for her
Nice, I've been waiting for a viable reno lock
Pefect i just made this deck this morning
Good timing!
4th matchup. Why would people play zephrys on 2 mana n empty board? Does anyone have statistics? Thi always seems like a bad idea.

this deck packs a lot of V A L U E
Just wait until you see LPG mage.
When I see the title of this video all I can think is the avengers end game meme “don’t do that, don’t give me hope”
Have you ever considered Even Reno Lock? I have one that I would say is my signature deck I call GERL Power.
Yay, my favorite deck ever
Running treachery without doomsayer is a crime
Hello Roffle!
I've made to legend with my own version without fel reaver treachery and rat
Ah yes, bloodreaver gul'dan, I recall when it rotated out of standard and control warlock winrates went into freefall
Maybe I should craft Lord Godfrey to play this deck, it is the only card that I don’t have
It's not a must-craft. It's just nifty when you need to draw really hard without tapping.
Edit: Oops misread Godfrey as Felgorge. Wrong 7 drop lmao
