- The truth about the power of Gohan Beast, from Dragonball Super Super Hero, is finally answered today. This might be a topic that has been attempted at being answered in the past, but I feel that I was able to give a more accurate, a more efficiently described answer. i'd like to think at some point that Toriyama sets the writing up that the reason why Gohan was able to get his beast form was because of having his potential unlocked by the Kais and that itself being the next level, like combining that with SSJ. That was always the push, Mystic Gohan was always praised for not needing to transform to get the mystic power he could tap into, so it would make perfect sense if he were able to merge the 2 abilities.
No one knows how strong the beast form actually is. We've only seen him barely lift a finger against Cell Max.

If Beast is anything like most transformations, then we might see Gohan reach new heights if he perfects Beast Mode
I hope Gohan has an actual role in super,… besides being one and done deal like he was in the end of Z. Perhaps fighting Frieza would be a cool end goal for Gohan. I don’t want frieza to be like orochimaru or Vegeta,… he should just remain a villain.
Frieza will never change. He may have more of a Martial Artist mentality than before but he’s still purely evil and psychotic. Also in regards to Black Frieza vs Gohan Beast, I agree we should wait for more info but it’s implied that Frieza trained for 10 years in the Room of Spirit and time to be ready for UI level Goku and UE level Vegeta.
Why is that you may ask? Well he saw UI Goku in action, then he saw Broly and saw the awesome power of Gogeta Blue. Frieza knew that at his current level at the time of DBS Broly, he would always lose. So he trained enough to make sure that no one can beat him again. It seems to indicate that he may have also trained to become strong enough to beat a UI/UE Gogeta/Vegito. If that’s true and Gohan Beast beats him, I would not like it one bit
Theres so much narrative and official statements that all suggest exactly what you're saying, you are overall probably right and I've already thought this for a while... its just getting everyone else to believe it.

Gohan is after the time skip,… I disagree with the take that MUI Goku and UE Vegeta are relative to Gohan at this point. The whole point of the movie was to put Gohan as the strongest during his era,… which includes Vegeta and Goku. Black Frieza vs Gohan cannot be argued because we don’t know how Gohan can scale to Black Frieza. Black frieza has a better tangible feat than Gohan,… but Gohan defeating a imperfect cell max isn’t an anti-feat. We just need to wait on more information to know for sure.

Gohan makes more sense, since he had been strongest twice , cell saga and buu .
And his mystic form was at least already ssj blue lvl in t.o.p and after many battles, he finally got triggered and unlock beast . Like how Goku and vegeta was ssj blue then got UI and UE .
Trunks make no sense , did he even have ssj 3 ? He just went ssj 2 then anger somehow can beat zamasu .

I’m not gonna lie to you I like it it shows how much of a killer the nicest guy in dragonball can become because let’s be honest everyone know at least one dude that is super kind and caring but will turn into a demon when you threaten the ones he cares about. And in Super Hero Gohan states that after the T.O.P. He kept up with his training in secret by himself which is why he was able to do the special beam cannon. After Resurrection F Gohan Hasn’t taken it easy on his training. He’s been training this entire time so he’s not making the same mistakes which proves he’s also not like his dad as much in that regard now he just has to wrangle with that killer instinct he taps into when he goes in beast form cuz he was definitely content to make cell max suffer for hurting his big green uncle. Yeah I went there cuz piccolo basically took the role of an uncle to all the younger ones which honestly is what an uncle does when the dad isn’t around .he helps look out for the kids. Gohan had it real rough but it wasn’t much of a choice either because they needed all the help they could get and Gohan was pivotal in taking down Vegeta his first legit win was by landing on him while in his great ape form transforming back to normal. He’s been a major help throughout all of Dragonball he just suffers the same issue of Vegeta he starts feeling himself Gohan smiles like that when he’s ready to kill a Motherfucker Vegeta does the im him pose and Goku grab asses abound too much but we still all love them.
It wasn't random. At all. Gohan has been mentioning this form ever since super. And he's finally unlocked it. Just like ui. It was mentioned. And nobody ever talks about how much of an ass pull that was.
I would argue that it is too early to draw conparisons. We don't know if gohan is able to access that form after the fight, because this part is not written yet, Goku had MUI in TOP as well, but it took him a long time to access it at will. It wouldn't be the first time that a transformstion just works for a single fight, espacially if Gohan continues to skip his training
yea in Super i agree. We have sth like that God Ki Trunks Form. idk actually what that was. But in Z i think you have a better transformation system. If you transform there you actually have that transformation if u train well. (First appear Trunks in Z to Goku: Can u use SSJ on free will? Goku: Yea I needed some time but now it should be easy to transform.) im pretty sure he said something like that ^^
@@Dunkelmaster it was called super saiyan rage I think, completly forgot about that. Super Saiyan Blue evolution from vegeta during TOP was another one, which was visible once and completly forgoten. So only time will tell what happens to gohan

When it comes to comparisons with Gogeta, it’s hard due to the fact that Gogeta Blue was only fighting the way he did to neutralize Broly and not kill him because he didn’t wanna kill him. He also showed only a hint of his true power so we have no idea what a full power Gogeta during DBS Broly looks like and keep in mind we are only using Gogeta from the movie, not a theoretical Gogeta Blue if he were to appear now as he would be far more powerful than before and that’s even before using any of his Ultra forms

Like these ideas. But the one main one that’s been left out if Whis stating someone to be stronger than Black Frieza. Whis is all-knowing and would’ve told Goku and Vegeta that currently Frieza was the strongest in the multiverse but he DIDNT. He said maybe, but there’s someone else out there who most likely beats Frieza. And that’s Gohan. I think Gohan unlocks his Beast power during the same time Whis mentions it. I think it HAS to be Gohan or Broly. There’s really no one else.
Doesn’t whis say something about there being another strongest in the universe somewhere at the end of the granolah arc? And isn’t he implying that beast gohan might be that person? I mean super hero takes place right after the granolah arc so it would make sense.
They added more to the manga. A scene where Goku and Gohan go one on one, and then Gohan against Broly. And then Gohan vs Vegeta vs Goku vs Broly vs Goten vs Trunks
This is a pretty solid power scaling with the information we have. Broly is a Saiyan, who has been training with the strongest beings in the universe. Toriyama needs to find a way to bring this story home.

So to give some clarity in the Japanese translation, he says gohan is stronger than anyone or so its said. In this translation he is referring to Gohan potential. This is actually nothing new from Toriyama. Mind yoi gohan and piccolo havent seen Goku or Vegeta after the Granola arc they have been training. So his perception of how strong his father is isnt accurate because he doesnt know hownstrongbhe got during the Granola arc. I think Gohan is just under them both but has unlimited potential

But isn't it something to say that Gohan's entry into Gohan Beast form is relative to True UI Goku and UE Vegeta? Just saying since he's barely had it for a bit. I know he isn't always the training type, but remember when he made it into ssj2 after training with Goku? Maybe if he's given 10 years in a hyperbolic time chamber, he can compete with Black Frieza. Either way, I look forward to more Beast Gohan in the near future!!!

The entire superhero movie was about piccolo believing gohan could be the strongest. That gohan could become stronger than even goku and vegeta. At the end of the movie gohan unlocked his true power and beat the final villain. Just by the movies narrative alone its safe to say that gohan is stronger than goku and vegeta in beast

Can you imagine if this happened at any other point in the story? It would just seem even more out of place.
Broly hasn't really had any proper training. Once he starts training with Whis and Beerus though I think he will jump leagues ahead of everyone else. Until that happens though comparing him to current Gohan, Goku and Vegeta isn't really fair.
I don't think broly will have any extra power ( like UI ,UE eg. ) , he'll just have ssj forms and his raging boost is enough to be near the strongest beings .

Gohan is the strongest plain and simple
Gohan has latent abilities, when he loses someone he loves. So potentially in circumstances definitely the strongest and unbeatable.
This is just wrong ssj 3 Goku actually spared with fused Buu while Gohan was running for his life trying to find the potora.
You need to rewatch the scenes. The fight with Goku was very short and Goku did no damage and got one cheap shot in while Buu wasn’t looking. Gohan was very briefly able to fight on par with him before getting overwhelmed.
The one thing I keep seeing from people that I hard disagree with is that the Gammas are only Blue level. With the timeline we know Piccolo and Gohan last saw Goku and Vegeta in the Moro arc, and were referring to them then.
The reason it's unnecessary to downplay the Gammas to Blue level is because the original androids back in Z were created after seeing Goku fight Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga. And the androids were powerful enough to destroy SSJ Goku and Vegeta post-3 years of training after Namek.
So you start to see how after the original androids were able to destroy Goku and Vegeta with just the battle data from the Saiyan Saga, that Dr. Hedo would easily be able to create androids powerful enough to deal with UI Goku, as that's the last battle they had data of.
Its not downplay its a literal creator statement. They were made to be the euivalents of goku and vegeta
Who remembers the Poll before the movie Super Hero? One of the answers was Gohan new form. Obviously New Form Gohan was the winner. So it makes sense the newest forms will rival the oldest forms including Gogeta Blue. So Frieza Black will rival Gohan Beast. Is there a higher level of Beast Form Gohan? Gohan even hinted he is looking for a newer form other than the previously known Super Saiyan forms. So Beast Form is what we got. Maybe he has Beast Form 2 and maybe even 3? Or Beast Form, Beast Form Perfected, Beast Form 2, Beast Form 2 Perfected.
With the introduction of being able to unlock one’s potential through shenron as with piccolo in super hero you would think both gotten and trunks would be the two with highest potential as the both are half saiyan but have a training partner in each other but the knowledge of those who are much stronger in goku, vegeta, gohan, piccolo etc along with beerus and Whis.

Gohan is the strongest. His transformation are true and pure unlike vegeta and goku. That's how he manages to keep up without golden hair. And I believe he's transformation has both perks as its white hair purple aura. He's on a level which we didn't have a real benchmark as he had help destroying cell max. The series needs to keep this momentum as Gohan and piccolo who trained him need to be respected

True ultra instinct isn’t a form of the angels it’s a form of the Gods of Destruction and that term kinda loses weight since Jiren is stronger than Belmod. In my opinion it makes sense for Gohan to be on par with them because all of the training he did as a kid in his base form, which exponentially boosts overall power. We know Saiyans get stronger after every battle look at his record of fights before he was an adult. All that plus the Tournament of Power happening, PLUS seeing Piccolo almost die (which we know is a catalyst for transformations with Saiyans) it makes sense that the Beast form was born. It’s like a mix of his Mystic Form and Super Saiyan 2. Potential + Rage, magnified by training and already having the highest latent potential
Look idk why this is even being debated... Vegeta has remarked more than one time, during the cell saga, during the buu saga, and even recently in super that Gohan has the most potential out of them all, he's just lacking the training. If he had kept up the training he would probably most definitely be the most powerful being on earth.
I feel like the writer didn’t wanna give too much away with gohans new forum… all we seen is gohan hold a punch by cell which didn’t even phase him and then literally one kick and plasma blast destroyed him 😂 so to me the writer wants us to know he’s powerful af but compared to goku,vegeta,Freiza etc… is he on par with them or above? Nobody knows I think he’s saving it until a new film/series until he spars or defeats a new threat and we see more of his potential in this new forum
Dude, you got it wrong about Broly. Akira Toriyama never stated that a complete Cell would decimate Broly. He just said that if Cell was completed, Broly wouldn't have been able to stop him. This could mean 2 things. It could mean Cell is stronger, or they are on par. Now, there is a time skip, we are going to assume that Broly got stronger after the time skip. This is why Vegeta refused to fight Broly on Beerus planet.
Maybe the existence of gohan beast is a preparation for goku and vegeta for their new power ups because as you said gohan B. Is around the level of gogita...

We will know the answer ONLY when dbs anime will continue because it will put everything into perspective and change some things, retcon some things and etc.
So far we are scaling via TOEI anime, Toyotaro manga and Toriyamas movies and it just doesn't make sense to scale those things off of each other. Toriyamas vision of his dragon ball is completely different from TOEI anime because they don't follow his scripts and so he ignores anime events and makes movies based on his original script, Toyotaro does his own thing and his manga is different from both TOEI anime and Toriyamas script he even said it himself some that things are his original ideas and Granola arc is 100% fully his idea and it was meant to happen before moro arc but his idea was declined at first so the arc came after moro.

Realistically knowing why gohan and piccolo got they're new forms there are 2 possibilities for how strong they are
Either orange piccolo is at the level of current ssj blue goku and vegeta and gohan is on par with ui goku and ue vegeta
Or piccolo is on par with mui and ue and gohan is significantly stronger
so Gohan is about as Strong as blue Vegito that's Crazy

A hypothetical Perfect Cell Max would be as strong as the one we saw in the movie. Cell Max's body was complete. That wasn't a Semi-Perfect Cell Max, that was a completed one in terms of raw power, but a completed Cell Max would've been able to be controlled by the RRA in order to not destroy everything. Beast Gohan still would've wiped Cell Max regardless of whether he was finished or not.
But what if Broly’s potential was unlocked by the elder Kai?

I don’t think he realizes that the super hero movie takes place 3 years after broly. Also super Buu was equal in power to gotenks and it did not take a couple days for Gohan to catch up to Goku. When Goku and vegeta were asking Gohan and piccolo to join for the universe 6 tournament it was shown and explained that Gohan had been training since resurrection F and given that dbs is over the span of 5 years (look it up) it really took Gohan about 3-3.5 years to get on level with Goku. Check your shit before coming in here and saiyan shit you don’t know.

What that means with the moro statement is that goku/vegeta were past ssb gogeta by the time moro/granolah arrived. So its VERY safe to assume that Gohan Beast >> SSBG/V (moro) >/= ssb gogeta >>>>>> Broly
Now account for the time skip and powerscaling logic says gohan beast is weaker than both goku and vegeta by quite a bit BUT its dragon ball, what matters isnwhat was intended. For that reason id say gohan is slightly weaker than goku/vegeta and piccolo is on a similar level

I’m not gonna lie to you I don’t agree on the take that beast Gohan is over broly it isn’t definitive, if Toriyama say he could beat cell max that means the answers in the void it doesn’t automatically make Gohan better, considering all the other factors like Broly power boost during the fighting itself, I don’t think Beast Gohan is as powerful as Gogeta and won’t have enough time to finish broly before he catches up in power level considering at their strongest their closely even it’s way too close to call.

What’s the point in making goku and vegeta train all day all night everyday if all they rlly gotta do is get angry like gohan then bam they become the strongest. Just because a character is not shown training doesn't mean they didn't train, from kidnapping as a child to beating his uncle radits, putting the beat down on vegeta as a child great ape or not 😅 getting mad and putting some beat down on freeza 2 or 3 times having the edge on him, than training with goku and beating cell, he fought against fat buu and super buu, he fought against golden freeza, he fought in the tournament of power beating kefla in the manga, he fought against Moro and his henchman, you people are overlooking so many facts just because one doesn't win a fight doesn't mean they didn't get experience. And so why can't he have an off screen training with piccolo to learn how to control his power after getting the fighting experience with cell and gammas? 💀 I guess most people didn't watch dragon ball z many times enough to understand...
it sucks but i dont think it will even matter. they brushed him aside for years. i do not see that ever changing. in the cannon manga has of right now he is hardly even seen after the menga has a few more story lines then dragonball super will pick up. mean time we will get the little kid stuff

We don't know if Broly would low-diff Cell Max. Gogeta certainly had little issue with Broly.

Cell Max = Orange Piccolo (ish)
Broly > Cell Max (Unknown amount)
Beast Gohan > Cell Max (Low Diff)

Also, I don't know if it's accurate to assume the TUI Goku used against Granolah is *stronger* than MUI. They're different. Different tools for different uses. (Unless it's stated somewhere I missed that it is in fact stronger, in which case I'll stand corrected) I think of them more as a defensive UI vs a offensive one.

Beast gohan is by no means close to Gogeta blue 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️. We all know that Gogeta blue probably has power comparable to beerus so unless you’re now about to say beast gohan is around Beerus’s level, he isn’t winning. Beast gohan is at most on par if a level higher than ue Vegeta and ui goku. Fusion is broken already. Gogeta in base can body goku and Vegeta in their normal blue forms.

Cell saga gohan was stronger than future trunks, cell saga gohan was also stronger than future gohan as well. Hows that make any sense. Age is irrilevant in db, the kind of training the characters go trugh only matters.

in my personal opinion: power levels are no longer relevant in Dragon ball, rather their is power tiering, characters that are as strong as base form, super saiyan, super sayain blue, and each characters limit break form. this explains why half way through Dragon ball super ssj1 gohan and ssj1 goku fought and they were on par with each other, or why ssj1 cabba was able to pressure ssj1 vegeta. its all about tiers of power as oppose to each character having a specific power level. All limit breaking forms are relative to each other. the author can just bullshit some powerup and have a character be stronger than the other for the purpose of the story.
Base form power still matters.

As a fan of Gohan, I agree with this. He's honestly still my favourite character, even after this ridiculous buffing. It's nice to see that he's not getting Krillin'ed out of the series, though it's completely left field.

Beast is no where near Ssjb Gogeta maybe a quarter way there but if Gogeta would have toyed around with Broly for too long Broly would have caught up eventually… Broly’s power is unbound and that’s the difference between him and the other saiyans he grows in power during battle not just after from battle boost… Gohan’s boost are rare and more powerful but but he lacks in battle prowess he’ll have a hard time with Black Frieza as well as ANY UI Goku form and UE Vegeta when he masters the form

I like all these characters, so let's look at some scaling here.
Gohan gained his new power in the form called Beast. This is actually puts him in a little disadvantage, since this is not his body's "growth" rate.
So what happens when these characters train?
Growth rate in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber
Training = Level
Gohan
4 years = Super Saiyan 2 Level Achieved
Frieza
4 months = Golden Frieza Level Achieved
10 years = Black Frieza Level Achieved

For Gohan and Frieza, they had trained determinedly for years upon years to achieve their training goals.
Gohan: had only just scraped by with his life, after dedicating 4 years of training to defeat Cell.
Frieza: Golden Frieza had still lost to Super Saiyan Blue Goku after 4 months of dedicated training.
Broly: went from being over powered and out maneuvered by a base form Vegeta, to knocking around the also highly trained Super Saiyan Blue Goku while staying in his base form. He had achieved this level of growth through chaos of the fight, even learning Goku's techniques as they were used on him (ruclips.net/video/DmwBVIC2eSk/видео.htmlsi=wLsltkyPnaYT3XTH&t=200). He learned Super Saiyan in his first real fight and eventually forced a Super Saiyan Gogeta to turn Super Saiyan Blue with just his Super Saiyan form. This growth across power levels happened in the span of less than 48 hours.
It's almost hard to call it training when a character can grow this quickly.
In one day, he had made Frieza's 4 months of training look like a waste of time.
In this newer story line, Broly's real strength is in his ability to quickly learn and easily adapt against seemingly unsurmountable odds, getting back up stronger every time he gets knocked down. This would make having a suitable mentor like Beerus or Goku very impactful, as he shows signs of being able to quickly pick up on new techniques and forms along the way. A very exciting thought!
What would happen if Broly spars with the gods and learns the Powers of Destruction, like Vegeta has? Could he intuitively learn the Super Saiyan Blue and Kaioken x20? Since Kaioken relies on stamina and physical condition, Broly could likely also pull off a x40 to x100 Kaioken, like Goku has done once before. How much could Broly grow from training under Beerus with 10 years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?
While Gohan has achieved some incredible power in this new form of Beast Gohan, I expect he would likely need to find stronger forms to keep up, if Broly only applies himself.

Whis stated that Frieza may not be the strongest in the universe as soon as he said that immediately we go to cell max retailing they made a whole long telling for this movie when in others they jus showed one page basically they wouldn’t do this for no reason like it make more sense if Broly had a retelling since he is a new character but they went out there way to tell this story. Are they trying to emphasize something or did they run out ideas. Cell max statement by akira was supposed to be a comparison to anime only since they had no clue for one about Moro and gas at that time. But cell max ki control is not good that’s how broly could possibly defeat him because if he was perfect he would easily display power beyond broly like when he saw gohan beast charging his full power like animal in danger. Gohan literally always been dumb with anger boosts and I’ll like to think this full possible anger boost at hand an we know how busted he is with it. That being said to me it jus make sense that he is far stronger than goku and vegeta and maybe comparable to Frieza or stronger or weaker than him but not by much. But I also can c the writers making a big deal out of Frieza making him stronger for drama you know. But who knows we ain’t gon know for sure til we get that particular saga or they would flat out tell us.
