But something feels fishy, my skin also gets extremely oily as I use it at night. I wake up with a very oily skin after using it. Is it because it is cleansing out the Extra oil with the purging? Or should I be concerned about it? Please let me know. And also I am sure my skin is pirging not breaking out.

I'm 100% certain about it. China was the only one who required animal testing for cosmetics, but they banned it a few years ago too. You can look at the regulations of different countries. Yes animal testing is still done for medicines, probably that's why you are finding it confusing 😊

It's an antioxidant so it's better if you use it in the morning before applying sunscreen. But you can certainly use it at night as well.
