Excited for this Kickstarter, but please stop cutting each other off mid-sentence. Normally Jesse is the one who won't let Shira finish a thought, but in this video it's reversed. It's really hard to watch!

The board is so white. Those salad leaves look weird. Maybe some item allows exploding dice.
I ma sure they will have more changes :)
Pretty sure the salad leaves are the burning oil from the fire cauldrons that the guards spilled on the zeds

Not that they have to worry about not exceeding their funding goal, but excluding wolves and archers for new backers would be a such a backwards move from CMON. This is considering that they made it possible the reorder the Unspeakable Box for CDMD, so I can only imagine that they'll either make the older expansions available as a reprint or recreate them to better suit the theme.
We will see!
They won't bring back undead archers. They didn't with Green Horde so there's zero chance with this campaign, unless they were redesigned altogether.
10:58 "...there are no exploding sucess..." in black plague either (but some items do grant that bonus). That's not a rule by default.

I did NOT hesitate backing white death. As somebody who has been obsessed with the fantasy zombicide, I NEED this expansion.
I have black plague, but just the retail edition and have been wanting more content. So hearing that this is backwards compatible I guess I know what I am getting. Thanks guys.

Related to your Jon Snow remarks, there's CMONs Song of Ice and Fire miniature range that could facilitate that easily. The art might clash, but they could work.

Thanks for showing us this prototype. I wanted to mention that I found the sound in your video a little unpleasant, you are both projecting your voices at the camera but you are in a room that isn't dampened at all and the reverb is quite bad. Get fabrics around the room, carpet, curtains, stuff like that it will help a lot. I look forward to seeing you guys play this game!
We have blankets hanging from the ceiling and carpet - however, getting perfect sound with a shotgun mic in a bed room. . . yes

Ok what I needed to know is if CMON will give us a chance to order BP or GH material in the campaign along with WD. Sort of like they did with CDMD and Marvel United subsequent campaigns.

Is it designed to play with 6 characters in every scenario?
One of the great things about Marvel zombies is that it scales from 4 to 6 characters, which is pretty cool.
Not sure - I think so. We like running a few at a time
I believe that the scenarios will require running 6 characters, similar to Black Plague.

Wait a second...... solo version and 2 player version. Do you mean as with just 1 and 2 survivors or 1 and 2 people using 6 survivors? If something I love about Marvel Zombies is that they reduced the player count to 4, so I hope there are modifiers for x amount of characters.
I don't know of any reduced player count - just running the full team with less players.
Black plague is my favorite version of zombicide and i backed this as soon as it appeared.

Looks like fun! I feel compelled to ask though, with Beast finally arriving in backers hands, will you two he doing a breakdown of that or a playthrough? You teased in the video with Alex that you and Shira would be doing a head to head video, I still have my fingers crossed for that!

With most of what I've heard, it's sounding more like it's trying to be a Tower defense game instead of a Dungeon Crawl. I'm not sure I'm hyped for that.

I'm in. I missed all the Zombicide KS. I got Black Plague in retail. I liked it so much, I got some additional heroes, got the Thundercats expansion, ordered the new comic volume 2.
All that to say, I find the medieval zombicide enjoyable and will try to get everything here.

It should be quite feasible to have some Night Watch vs zombies thematic going on since CMON has access to the ASOIAF (which Game of Thrones is based on) IP and they have miniatures for crossbowmen, archers, swordsmen, and spearmen and even Jon Snow, so all the guards from WD could be replaced with those from the Night Watch for a ASOIAF scenario. It's honestly more money for CMON unless they don't play their cards right.
I got Retail Black Plague and have been looking for Green Horde for a while. I'm not missing this one.

I'm hoping the Kickstarter does have archers. By the time I got Black Plague the Deadeye Walkers were out of print and not having them really hurts the game.

Undead or Alive was my first venture into Zombicide and I love it. I appreciate this breakdown as I've been looking forward to hearing more about it. My only reservation with this series is the amount of noise tokens and clearing them each round. Just sounds like a nuisance that I won't enjoy managing. I really like how UoA cleaned that up. And got rid of doors, which I'm glad they've ported over to here. The medieval theme doesn't do much for me, but put an Asian twist on it, and I am definitely more intrigued.
Yea, honestly, I just deal with noise when it matters . . . and make a good judgement call.
I was gonna get zombicide soon, and the Fantasy ones seemed awesome! Would you recommend this as a start?

Doesn't CMON already have access to ASOIAF through the miniature game? Even if they don't do a "wink wink, nudge nudge" hint to Game of thrones, you can pick up the ASOIAF mini game to add them in. :D
Depends on the licensor and the terms of the license use, but I can definitely see them getting some official ASOIAF character packs as that's EASY cash for both parties!

I'm excited for this it was nice to learn the game with 2nd edition, but it got too easy too quickly. I want to go all in on a zombicide, but I have been worried that the one i go all in on would be as easy as 2nd edition

Stick to your guns, Jesse. Do not listen to your wife! You need EVERY Zombicide! I have all the Zombicide stuff with the exception of some of the 1e boxes and the black plague/green horde kickstarter exclusives. Everything else is either coming (Marvel) or I was able to get on ebay (prior to Undead or Alive which I was in then in the hobby and was able to late pledge). It's a great system AND you're a ttrpg player too... if you play ttrpgs without minis... what are you doing with your life? You have so many minis just in your board game collection and Zombicide adds so many minis for all kinds of different ttrpg stories. That alone is worth the five kallax cubbies that my collection is currently eating up.

Sorry to say that I hate the material. The girl has a terrible diction and shoots words at auto mode as if the two were racing. They also keep speaking simultanously on multiple occassions and don't let each other finish a sentence, it really couldn't get less professional and more irritating to watch.

@@Quackalope It is the last three years that i find their kickstarter campaigns very aggressive with respect to the marketing and I don't like the fact that they are charging you the VATS and also that they make money out of the transportation costs. I think that kickstarter is to raise money for a product to be realised and not just a preorder platform for that product. Unfortunately CMON treats backers like customers and the kickstarter as a bank, instead of investing their own capital into making a product and then selling it, they use other peoples money and for me the overall vfm for their products is not that great anymore.
