    Aw, the wasted lid issue has always been a sticking point for me even before the supply issues we began dealing with a couple of years ago. It always made me admire your commitment to your channel that you would crack open a jar of what you'd canned and filmed to show us out here what you thought of it. Fun to get to rewatch this video and see how you enjoyed that wonderful preserve.

    Oh Linda! I bet it would great to put some of that Jalapeno Cranberry jelly inside, too, right on that strip of cream cheese so it goes throughout the chicken. Mmmmm Mmmmm! 👌

    Hello Linda. I want to start canning. I'm in the UK. Pressure canners are thin on the ground over here so it looks like I will have to import one from the US. Can you recommend a brand and model. I have a glass top hob. Thanks. Love your videos. Inspirational and uncomplicated. You also gave me the confidence to use my dehydrator....Keep up the good work.

    I’m going to try it with cream cheese on crackers for the holidays. That’s what I did with your jalapeño jam to. It was delicious!!

    Hi Miss Linda. Thank you for your videos. I'm fairly new to canning, and they are teaching me quite a lot. I have a question. Although I wash my jars in the dishwasher (because you always wash your jars in the dishwasher), but I have been washing my lids by hand, for fear that in the dishwasher, the water would cause them to fly around inside, and damage them. But my husband thinks that we should wash the lids in the dishwasher. How do you wash your lids? Dishwasher or by hand? Thank you.

    I would love to see salmon canning session. My son went salmon fishing last year and his truck burst into flames, needless to say he didn’t to it again this year.

    Looks really good ..try rolling the the chicken in strips of bacon before backing ...so so yummy

    Wow.. you must feed a lot of people! You can so much! I love it and I would love to see a pantry tour video. We raise a lot of our food and I have started to can more and learned a lot from your videos, but I do not do a fraction of what you do .. and I seem to have enough to get me thru to the next season.

    I was desperate the other day and was a lid short so I washed a used one checked it and then used it hoping it would take but if not I would just have to use up the jar that was a fortnight ago and it is still sealed and looks great I have it marked and I will use it first just to see how the seal sounds when I break it fingers crossed

    Wimpy lips here lol I made this and you can taste the heat 😳 I even took the seeds and veins out. After it cooked some it’s nice and tangy now. Thank you!!!

    I used a little less OJ in my batch of jalapeno cranberry sauce, it's much thicker. But I'm happy with it, it's delish! I'm going to be cooking up some ham steaks tonight and will be adding spoonful of the sauce on top! It's going to be delish!! Looking forward to the salmon video.

    I’ve actually had seal fails from rusted-through lids after less than 12 months of storage on pickled products! Since then I’ve started inspecting the enameled surface of all of my lids before I use them...I usually get 1 or 2 per dozen that has a flaw in the enamel!!
