Thank you so much sir for clearing our doubts and removing stress from our heads ❣️🤟
You are saying let's celebrate how can be celebrate sir we have invested 7 year ( BA MA Mphil ) for this now our credibility will be low as compared to NEP
True!
Yah , but think we have lots of time wasting, but the next generation are lucky 😀
You seem to be biased towards Mphil, you can get licensed to practice independently with PsyD(teach and practice) and PDCP( according to RCI mandate they can practice independently not necessarily only under a clinical psychologist, only that they can not teach) please give clear information like this lot of misguidance can happen.
This day need to be written in history of psychology 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 big and very nice decision ❤
I am very happy, because I am thinking about lots of time, why Government not Provided RCI license, after completed Master in clinical psychology, Today my thought is full fill, best opportunitie for new Students. ❤🙏
I'm doing bsc psychology(3yrs program) if I do masters in clinical psychology can i get RCI license?? Even without doing m. Psy or mphil?
Which universities offer BSc in Clinical Psychology?
And can we do BA psychology honors?
Thank you so much sir Ji for beautiful session 🙏
Thank u so much sir for clearing all my doubts
This session are Very fruitful for me & beautiful new currently I'm doing preparation for masters in psychology as well as I thought after complete my masters then I take participate in M. Phil. So in nut shell after 5 to 7 year's it will discounted. Isn't
It may be discontinued, but as for now, there is no problem to do MPhil Clinical Psychology
@@UPSEducationso if it will be discontinued what about the students who’ve done MPhil?
Nice information sir but unka kya hoga jo already as a clinical psychologist practice kr rhe h without RCI license o bhi government setup me. Pls sir iske baare me Jarur apna point clear kriyega... Ab to o graduation 4years with masters 2yeras to krenge nhi to kya jo kr rhe h Unko RCI license provide krayega

You can play from there
Hello sir,I have completed M.A i applied psychology this year. How can become clinical psychologist if mphil is discontinued?I have already done my masters in 3+2 criteria?
Some concerns sir ji-
1. Has there been any similar changes in other fields of psychology ( counseling psychology, applied psychology etc) ? Are there any chance that bsc will become compulsory for these fields
2. Will bsc Psychology become compulsory for pursuing PhD also ??
3. Will these chances affect me if in already in my 2 nd year of graduation in psychology?
4.4. Can I peacefully pursue my PhD after ma counseling psychology or will I face any issues in future because I'll not have a bsc in clinical psychology?
Im early worried... what if they do these changes for phd in. Some years also and tge we students stay jobless
This rule is applicable for MPhil clinical psychology not will not affect PhD programs. To know more about your query, you can call us on 9990717772. Our executives will help you.
It was already clear before as well. It’s just unfair to the people who’ve already done their education.
If you have completed MPhil Clinical Psychology already, there is nothing unfair in this as you would have got license to practice as a clinical psychologist.
Sir I m doing M.A in psychology from distance Now to get RCI license what can i do because in so many university distance student couldn't apply for Mphill clinical psychology
Here is the list of some institutions that provide M.Phil Clinical Psychology after distance mode of master: www.upseducation.in/update/list-of-institutions-for-m-phil-clinical-psychology-where-ignou-students-can-apply/

You can pursue M.Phil. Clinical Psychology. There is no issue
Hello, this is something I have been thinking about. There's no mention for people who want to work as a counseling psychologist.
And people who are working for 5+ years, now they should leave their jobs and go and do m.phil for 2 years
Brainless decision 😒
sir i am in 1st year second semester pursuing ba hons psych amity uni 3yr program?
What do i do?

What about who have done master in applied psychology...
With Masters in Psychology as well, still you can pursue MPhil Clinical Psychology
Sir , i am confused.. i am from non psychology background but right now i am doing masters in psychology from ignou ..i was planning to get admission in M.phil then work as a clinical psychologist..
Is it still possible?
Or my degree is not worth it?
Sir I am doing masters yesterday our HoD, just shared one more declaration by UGC on the strict discontinuation of Mphil, but just after he also shared a request letter from ministry of higher education to pursue MPhil for atleast 8 years. If they meant to allow the same in the memorandum, why such a request?
Sir I am currently pursuing Bsc psychology Honours degree
And after completing my psychology honours degree if i do msc in clinical psychology is it fine that I can get licence as a clinical psychologist sir or I need to Do MPhil to get licence
And my university providing us honours degree in 3 years only
Currently, if you want to work as a clinical psychologist, it is necessary to do MPhil clinical psychology program.

Which is good option professional diploma in clinical psychology or in MPhil in clinical psychology ?
M.Phil clinical psychology is the better option
Sir I'm in 12th right now, so which undergrad course should I go for?
I was hoping for BA psychology honors from DU or BSc Psychology honors from Christ
But I can't find any colleges or universities offering BSc honors in Clinical Psychology
You can take any four year hons course whether it is BA psychology (hons) or BSc Clinical Psychology (hons). It will be better for you
@@UPSEducation sir can you say name of the colleges for bsc clinical psychology honours 4 years
If somebody did not have psychology in bachelors but doing 2 year ma then wat?
Message us on whatsapp at 9990717772. The team will surely help you.
Did you get the answer?
Sir i am currently doing 12th in humanities is there any chance i can do purse career in rci licenced clinical psychologist
I am pursuing Psychology 4 year undergraduate programme. In order to get license, I need to pursue two year MA Clinical Psychology right? That will suffice right? That means, and let me confirm that my license will be approved once I complete MA? So, in all, I do 4+2, it gets over in two years is that correct?
As this pathway is not followed yet, you have to complete MPhil clinical psychology to get RCI license
Is it safe to pursue an MPhil in clinical psychology, and will the degree remain valid even if the program gets discontinued?
Yes. There is no problem to pursue MPhil clinical psychology even if it is discontinued after few years. Because you will get license after completing MPhil clinical psychology
Sir those who belong from humanity stream, so they cant pursue bsc hons in clinical psychology that why do they need to pursue ba hons social work (as oer official notice) then Ma
Hello Kushi, How are you?
It's just a memorandum now. According to recommendation, graduation in social work will led student to be psychiatric social worker.
students following the new pattern of 4+2, are they eligible for a license right after their masters, OR is a PhD still necessary to be able to get licensed
Yes. They will get license after completing Master's in Psychology (If this pathway is enforced)
🎉
Hello Sir I completed my MA In Clinical Psychology And I want to do M Phill In Clinical Psychology

Sir is only bsc in psychology student will get to do ma or msc in clinical psychology then what about the ba students ?
As per new memorandum, after completing B.Sc (Hons) Psychology also, you will be able to pursue MA in Clinical Psychology.
Is this means there will be no BA in psychology course ?

You can pursue Master's in Psychology now if you have completed your bachelors program.
@@UPSEducation I have just taken admission this year so my bsc is 4years now and some teachers told us that we can skip the masters in future .We can take Mphil for 2years !!!!Is it correct ?

Sir , i want to persue bsc honours in clinical psychology the next year 2024... So i have to follow the 4+2 or 3+2+2 crateria?

There may be amendments for this till that time. For more, you can call us on 9990717772.

i am in 2nd year of Bsc clinical psychology , in my time will the duration of Master be reduced to 1 year ? and i can do 2 years Mphil right after that ?
You can drop us a message on whatsapp at 9990717772
I think this new criteria which was decided by the way without getting the opinion of so many practicing clinical psychologists. World is moving ahead in research and practice of clinical psychology our country is demoting the role of clinical psychologists.
Such decisions are only taken either without much knowledge. MPhil is working as per scientific practitioner model.. boulder model. Rendering the role of clinical psychologists while there is already so much quack and Malpractice is just endorsing such practices. It just seems either a myopic or immaturely and self interested.
You are absolutely correct. Infact, In the US, they are pretty much done with the diagnosis and moving more towards trans-diagnosis. While, we are just hell bent on giving people diagnosis and treating them in the same mechanical way rather than coming up with something innovative
Absolutely correct! We will have to get united and file our petition against this kind of biased decisions.
Can i attempt entrance in this year . After in BA hons psychology admission
If you complete your bachelor's, you can take CUET-PG in Psychology next year.
@@UPSEducation i.m student of 2023 _27 and inter bA Hons psychology currently . Can I pursue MA clinical psychology rather than mphil
Sir i am from arts background. And i want to be a clinical psychologist, i am getting ready to pursue B.A in psychology. Can there be any issue for arts stream students? Please guide me sir...🙏
There is no issue. You can continue pursuing your bachelor's in Psychology
@@UPSEducation sir, i completed my b.a in history from nsou in 2021. And i haven't any background of psychology.... So can i take 1year for preparation and give the exam for m.a in psychology. And then i will complete my m.a in psychology and after it i complete m.phil in clinical psychology. Will it possible? And may i become a RCI license approved clinical psychologist?
To pursue MPhil Clinical Psychology, it is necessary to have masters degree in psychology even if you have a non psychology background. So you can feel free to pursue Master's in Psychology
sir how to get your online classes
You can send us message on WhatsApp No. 9990717772 for more information.
What about those who have completed their masters this year. As mphill will most probably discontinued next year and hospitals like ihbhas ans rml are not taking admissions since last 2 years. There are already very less institutes offering mphill and the no. of seats are very less. So is there any chance that these hospitals will begin their mphill intake again or will directly take asmissions for mphill?
It can be enforced in few upcoming years but as of now students who have completed their master's in psychology, need to do MPhil clinical psychology to work as a clinical psychologist
Sir i am a non psychology graduate..
I wanted to persue master's in psychology and then opt for mphil.
What's is the way out for me now ?
If you have completed a bachelor's as non psychology student, you can pursue a master's in psychology to get into MPhil clinical psychology.
But your college options would be very few
After completing my engineering in 2026,can i do the ma in clinical psychology
To pursue MA Clinical Psychology (As per notice), you will have to complete B.Sc. (Hons) clinical psychology or BA (Hons) psychology
Sir G, the article says changes wont be apply to students pursuing or passout in Masters (and at the same time its saying mphil will continue for the next 5-6 years to maintain continuity),so does it mean ---- THE STUDENT WHO WILL ENTER MASTERS IN PSY 2025 (will they have to do mphil or do they have any other option) ⁉️😅🙏
Please Clear This Confusion Sir 🙏
As it is mentioned in the notice that to be a clinical psychologist, you will have to complete 4 year's bachelor's and 2 year's Master's in psychology. There may be amendment till that time.
could you link the article?
So we have limited time to get license?
No. You will be getting RCI license even if this pathway is enforced.
Ma distence ya regular eligible
You can pursue in both of mode which is suitable for you
Sir, I'm persuing my bachelor in clinical psychology and this is 4 year degree, and my clg/uni is attached with hospital. We have Psychiatry OPD and IPD.
So will I also have to do mphill ?
As for now, yes. you have to pursue MPhil clinical psychology
Sir i am going take the admission next year2024 in masters so i also have to do mphil or not i am confuse?
After completing Master's in psychology, you can pursue MPhil to be a clinical psychologist.
I have another doubt if I complete my masters degree will I be able to practice as a licensed clinical psychologist ?
