The whole lab storyline with Homelander felt like watching a horror movie. It's been said before and it needs saying again: someone give Antony Starr deserves an Emmy!
Or as the episode stated he is conditioned to try and impress them so they love him he only kills Madeline in season 1 once he thinks he has proved his worth to her
I'm starting to wonder if Hughie's mother is actually real, and if she's a hallucination like Butcher's Becca. I think it was Hughie who gave his father the Compound V and the hallucination of his mother apparently doing it was a coping mechanism.
It's a pretty interesting twist on the Supe thing, actually.. giving Butcher powers that are basically controlled by his illness/illness made sentient.

Especially if you watch him normally he's such a funny go lucky guy so it's interesting seeing him bring homelander to life.
Homelander seems to be afraid of people who aren't afraid of him. That's why he never killed Stan Edgar and now he left that woman alive.
He leave her alive he broke the the door she’s trapped in there

@@joedesmond22but didn’t he kill her once she admitted she was afraid of him
You may have a point he also keeps Billy alive
And Butcher
Just give Antony Starr all the awards. All of em.
Its easy to forget that Hughie is combat tested and definitely has the stuff.
Also I find it haunting the very quick flashes of young Homelander screaming in the oven

simon pegg's acting just went up a notch this episode -- i think i'm smelling an emmy nomination!

Like Venom.
Butcher is has a symbiote like Venom and thru visions and hallucinations is how it communicates. Cool 😅
.
What an amazing performance from Antony Starr 👏
Guys i think Homelander would benefit from a little therapy. Just saying.
Nah he’s probably fine now lol
I totally agree, A-Train will die this season. That will be his ‘reward’ for trying to do the right thing.
13:53 The way you look at the camera, you knew damn well ahah reasons why you're one of the best reactors/reviewers on RUclips. You and Macram

I think A-Train should join The Boys. Besides it will earn his family's trust again.
He would fit in. He is a murderer just like they are 😆…

I'm calling it now that Hughies mums a figment of his imagination after him taking GenV just like how Butcher is seeing his Ex
