Really glad that Pegg got a chance to shine before his exit from the show - Hugh Sr. really was underutilized over the years.. in a way thats kinda the tragic story of Hughie and his relationship since Robin died.. he just sorta faded into the background, albeit he never complained about it.
I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character is all in Butchers mind. At the end in the barn, when he was talking to Sameer, Sameer looked over to where Kessler should’ve been as if he couldn’t see him. It’s all in Butchers head. Part of his ‘Venom’ personality from the V. No one else has interacted with him, because he’s not really there.
Yep, that's what I was thinking. By the time we saw Jeffrey Dean Morgan's second scene with Butcher, I had my suspicions with the fact that Jeffrey has only had scenes with Butcher. If that's the 'big twist', I will be so disappointed because it's so obvious lmao
When Annie says "You should really talk to someone." to Frenchie it's not like he hasn't. He tried all his avenues. I haven't done anything like him but I can relate. Sometimes it just doesn't work
This was the most Supernatural esque episode of the series. Angsty boys, running from monsters, and bringing someone back from the dead goes wrong. The big bad is even usurping the role of god.
First thing, I saw your screenshot before I watched the episode and was like, "OMG, why is crying?! WHY IS SHE CRYING?! What happened?!?" Then I immediately went to watch the episode. It seemed like this episode lasted FOREVER! I thought, I can get through this, but Simon FRICKIN' Pegg broke me!! I was an absolute mess, like blubbering. SMH. Why do we put ourselves through this?!
Just watched this with my 2 pals, one of them his father had a stroke aswell like hughies, so this hit harder for him and I hated knowing that it hurt him more :( (sorry if that's an overshare🤣) but other than the episode is hyping is for the last 3🙌🤯
Sage CLEARLY inows it's A-Train from her phrasing. And, I haven't seen anyone pointing out that the "Guardians of Godolkin" make EIGHT members of The Seven.
Now seen it seven times with this reaction. Frenchie's line will always be HILARIOUS!!!!! Mainly because of how deadpan and seriously he delivers the line.
Idc what others say.. i am enjoying the season and just the topics of coming to terms with the past and the relationships between parents and children and just the complexities of forgiveness and letting go... even with all the shenanigans i am enjoying the different characters and them each having to deal with their own problems.
You're one of my favorite reacters since the old twd days. I don't watch many reacters besides you, steven and nikki, and a few others. Although most dont upload as early as you 😅
Regarding Frenchie's change of heart, don't forget that he was in rehab. This is probably the first time ever that he's been sober for an significant amount of time. And part of the rehab process is to seek apologize to those that were injured by the patient's actions.
So many great performances in this ep. But honestly I can't tell you how much I don't care about Frenchies little melodrama that we seem to keep revisiting OVER AND OVER, what an absolute waste of what was a charismatic and meaningful side character
I think people are kinda looking at the Frenchie thing in the wrong way, honestly. Dude has been selfmedicating for years now, dudes basically a junkie to keep the ghosts at bay.. this episode he finally had it and decided to take a stand and end the cycle.. that's a pretty big thing. Although I can see that kinda getting lost in the shuffle considering the other stuff going on in the episode. I think it would behove a lot of people to remember that in many ways the underlying theme of the show is broken people.. not just a Superman/DC parody.
@@vampyre_with_a_suntan I can agree with that. For me there is more side stuff I'm wanting to see other than "character with a heart of gold haunted by his past" schtick
I kinda don't care at all about any one of the boys' individual arcs this season tbh. Butcher, Kimiko, Frenchie, MM, Hughie, Starlight are all so uninteresting compared to the Vought side of things, the show has not been moving forward lately because they don't want to kill any characters off.
@@rafaelcruz9973 I'd argue the show is spinning its wheels a bit on either side - the Boys and the Supes, both. The Vought stuff basically boils down to Homelander still being nuts and on the cusp of breaking entirely - and the usual palace intrique.. that's hardly new, nor interesting.
She's honestly so annoying and I can't stand her face lol and the whole Frenchie Colin storyline was a stupid mistake . I was a huge fan of both of them before but the writers gave them horrible storylines that you can't really come back from

"This man is in no condition to fuck a sheep" is the funniest line of the entire show to date :)
Of all the shows to make me cry, I never expected it to be The Boys. What an absolutely heartbreaking scene with outstanding performances.
Yes. Simon Pegg was amazing.
@@ameliacraiig4193 He sure was. As was Jack Quaid.
Wandavison is the one that got me ❤️
I feel like the series finale is gonna be a tearjerker

so butcher gave his evil smile to...nobody 😄
RIP Hugh Campbell Sr. 😢💔
If you have ever had a relative with alzheimers this episode it really rough. Thanks for the great reaction Jess.

my beloved stepfather died of a stroke so this episode hit me like a comet in the feels

The look of absolute dismay on Homelander's face when he says "that's the title we went with?" is hilarious

I feel like every one of your The Boys reactions is 20% you looking nervous and 80% you looking shocked lmao
Jack Quaid did an amazing job along with Simon Pegg

I think he’s hallucinating Jeffery dean Morgan
I’m beginning to think the JDM’s character is just in Butchers head as well. 🤔
Those sheep were crazy! Thanks for your commentary.

Awesome reaction of my favorite The Boys episode!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
I love Ashley so much
Seems like Butcher needed another Rebecca hallucination at the end there.
I really hope you treated yourself to a drink after this, you deserve it! Amazing reaction.
This episode was so flipping werid 😮😮😮
Sad and disturbing 😢
There are no heroes 😢😊
Good thing we watched Gen V before season 4. It's like MCU all over again.
Why would anyone have an issue with you hating depictions of animal cruelty? They'd have to be some seriously pathetic losers.
Love your top you look beautiful in it. ❤❤
