After completing Grian's base transformation last week, I decided to give finishing MumboJumbo's base a go! I hope you like it!

As a note, the download only includes the area including the two transformed bases to cut down on the file size, and so I'm not redistributing any work that I didn't work on myself

Love these builds! Also, next time you make one of these videos I highly recommend trying out the Axiom mod, as it absolutely revolutionizes creative building and significantly speeds up/streamlines the process. It also pairs well with world edit, so no need to give up your current tools! (although I personally use it as a wedit alternative)

I know there's lots of requests to do scarland, but given that Scar has stated very clearly that he plans to continue working on it outside of hermitcraft and probably make videos about it, I would recommend holding off on doing that one. It would seem a bit weird to be competing with the original creator in finishing their build. Just something to consider.
Certainly, Scar Land is something I'd only do if I had expressed permission from Scar as I know how important the build is to him :)

What the hell that is gorgeous. both these bases seem like what everyone imagines in their head but realize it’s way to hard to accomplish but you actually did it
I dont think its to hard to build but the gathering of resource is too boring/tireing in survival
@@sib3155 and to be fair, it would be incredibly tedious to build this entire thing. Especially when it’s really easy to get burnt out

When people usually redo or finish builds they sometimes forget to keep a story line. The reasons i love the hermits are because they are great at story telling through their builds. You have done amazing work once again and wish you the best of luck in future endeavors.

Allen's moustache is perfect. I can imagine Grian and Pearl building him as a prank, Mumbo deciding to keep him, then Iskall adding the moustache while giggling like an idiot 🤣 This whole build is awesome and really tells a story!
And now mumbo will be like
"I just have to finish the front of my base"
What's really cool is that the large pipes wouldn't just be asthetic. They could actually very well be functional. After all, the drops from the farms have to get into the storage system somehow! If it were done really cleverly, a portion of the drops could be split off to be stored in the vault for easy access, while the majority could be put in the storage rooms.
You know, now that I say it, it seems quite weird that things would be stored in a _vault_ for "easy access," but hey, that's just how his base works I guess.
I think finishing Joe's and doc's base would make the most sense since the pinball machine is incomplete and the perimeter is just so vast and empty.
Follow by that, I think finishing false's factory would be nice.
Also xisuma's base always seems odd to me which just a skull sticking out of a mountain. I would imagine he would had other skeletal parts sticking out of various places within the surface area, but he had never did that.
He planned to do a whole skeleton, but he got bored with the idea and decided to just dig his base

This is absolutely phenomenal. I hope mumbo gets his hands on the download and adds in a bunch of farms and automated storage to it.
This was absolutely insane! I was already in love with Mumbo's own design of the tower, but you sir have absolutely perfected it! And, with all my love and respect towards the great Mustache Man, I'm afraid even he wouldn't have done something as crazy as this. Something similar - yes. But on such a grand scale? Unlikely. Especially in survival, having to gather all the resources and all.
"but uh i suck at redstone" missed opportunity to say "im not mumbo" since redstone doors are his thing haha! love the bases you build!

It was definitely the best one this season and you will have a lot of potential with it.
Also, just a tip... do more shots with shaders... would love to see how it looks

No not Scar's base. Although it was unfinished when Hermitcraft Season 9 ended, Scar intends to continue working on it outside of Hermitcraft, and you can tell he has great plans for it. It seems wrong for someone else to be "competing" with him as to how it should be finished.
@@overpower3382 I think he needs to end his 8 Season base) He wanted to do so much more there. But Moon ws really big) And I think he would be happy to see creativity of other people about his build and inspiration he gives us at all

If you're doing upgradesto Hermitcraft bases, I'd recommend ImpulseSV's base from Hermitcraft Season 5. The one that a few hermits referred to as the "birdbath", while Impulse kept calling it Atlantis. Also, Tango Tek's base from the same season. Mumbo's coffe table from season 5 would also be an interesting choice, upgraded in a neon/cyberpunk-esque style.

I used to play Minecraft a lot and to tackle massives projects like this one. I don't have time for hat anymore and so seeing you do such an amazing job brings back some great memories. Thank you !

There are a lot of unfinished mega bases in the Hermitcraft S9 but the most unfinished one is ScabLand or even ScarLand.

Maybe it is a little too copy-pasty in some areas, which is forgivable as Mumbo's base is quite a uniform looking structure, but aside that this is a spectacular transformation, I love the vault upgrade and the gigantic floating orb in the middle, it just ties the whole dark futuristic theme together so well! I especially repsect how you connected Mumbo's and Grian's bases both thematically and literally by tying the quarry bit with the Rift area, something I would've loved done in the main Hermitcraft server itself.
I watched the transformation of Grian's base as well as this one and you do not fail to surprise.
I cant wait for what other builds you have in store for us!

The hermits didn't get alot of time on this server, and edpially with their lives getting busy. I'm really glad your transforming these bases 😌 just letting us look at the potential of these builds
not only are you a fantastic builder, but you really take the time to write out a cool reason and bit of story/lore for every little addition and creation you added, and it was absolutely brilliant! new sub acquired, keep up the incredible work!
This looks absolutely great!! Maybe Pearl's alien landscape or the snow plains surrounding Tango could be a fun idea for what to do next?
It looks so good! It'd be cool if you had Mumbo do the redstone bits. Perhaps there might be some satisfaction for him seeing that his base had amazing potential that you did wonderfully to showcase.

So much WOW! Subscribed, and will definitely watch more of your videos! I LOVE the idea with the pipes, I can picture in my head using water streams inside them to move items about. A little redstone to make some of the lights in the build blink would just be icing on the cake. Even in creative mode with world edit tools, it takes superb vision to pull something like this out, and you do this once a week?! That's amazing!

Nice transformation, you've done amazing, while still following Mumbo's original design principles! This transformation has given me a lotta inspiration for my own projects in Survival. Though now Mumbo's super secure vault has a giant hole at the bottom of it :p
I would love to see Joe's pinball machine get finished. It was a labour of love to his interests in life, and I think him and his base are super underrated. One of the largest bases in the season too!

It would of been a great idea to do a bit of interior decoration and let Mumbo do the rest of the interion based on his redstone abilities so it combines both redstone and building elements. That would also be a great opportunity since i believe that you are underrated and you deserve way more subs

The hilarious part is it not the funny quote, it's the fact that you thought this was equal to 1% of is fortune in the cosmic spec of dust this is compared to his ACUTAL inheritance XD
