I'm trying to get a shiny own tempo rockruff. But this rockruff is being very very stubborn.
Is there a written list of these steps anywhere, like a checklist to make sure you don't miss a step? I really don't want to write all this down if it is already in a list somewhere, but I need a list so I don't have to calibrate with the 127 Magikarp again. I'd especially like to know if there is a list for the calibration steps.

I had bred literally every breedable pokemon available at the time as a shiny back in 5th gen, but only just learned about 7th Gen RNG. I had assumed it nigh impossible. Time to resume!
This is what I do having perfect parents already.
1. Select Game version
2. Type in my TSV and seed info
3. Select shiny charm since I have it
4. Type in parent IVs and ability
5. Parent held tems and gender ratio
6. Masuda method
7. Select target IVs
8. Shiny only
9. Frame range, then calculate
10. "Set as Target frame" on the frame that has the stats I want
11. Shortest path
12. Calculate
And done. Just follow what eggs you need to accept/reject. If you want perfect parents just don't select "shiny only" on step 8

He mentions getting a "perfect" egg first, but how does that affect the RNG? in the video he gets a pokemon with 5 not 6 IV's, do I need to get 5 or 6? Does it matter what 5 I get? I'm not sure I understand what the IV's does to affect the shinyness of the pokemon. When I get a 5IV pokemon (non-ditto) nothing even pops up as a shiny within my frame range. Only way I get something to pop up is with the shiny charm or masuda method. So would it be better to just use a masuda method pokemon rather than a 5 IV pokemon?
Great Video, but can you describe what you did in the profile manager at 10:22? What I think you're doing is you're clicking the edit button (the one with the pencil) then clicking the plus button (I guess to add the profile?) Then hit the gear and save right?
How did you know the stats of the lycanroc used to make the perfect nonshiny rockruff?

Last time I hatched a shiny when I received the egg that was shiny , I took out the parents before another egg was spawned and set the frame of the shiny egg as my current status … for so reason now everytime I try to hatch a shiny it’s the wrong frame … please help !!

Hey this is interesting I’m just wondering does accepting and rejecting eggs change anything? Like I’ve just been hatching all the eggs that appear. Does this prevent my shiny or is it just I don’t know when I’ll get it?
I tried this, and didnt add the IVs because I planned on just using the gold bottle cap. All the pokemon listed where the right genders, nature's, and abilities with wrong Hidden power. The last poke was not a shiny though. What happened?
Yo I did EVERYTHING as you did. Even matched random eggs to make sure the nature were going in order and still did NOT get a shiny. Any idea as to why? I’m lowkey sick. Did I need the shiny charm?? Does my ditto have to be perfect international?? Help me out
It does need to be Masuda method. If you had a shiny charm that would have messed it up. Are you sure you counted the right number of eggs, and used YOUR egg seed and all that and not his?
Static I counted EVERYTHING but I did NOT have shiny charm, nor a perfect IV ditto. All the eggs matched according to the RNG tool’s “predictions”.

Hey man good video! I'm trying it with masuda and shinycharm but my first frame for an perfect kapuno is 15279.. i have to accept 450 eggs, that's insane, is there an opunity to make it easyer/shorter? i don't want accept so many eggs, maybe sth is going wrong and everything was for nothing....
