Really appreciate you posting this review. It was nice to see the product in action. I've been looking at monitors for a while and think I'll go with this one due to the pan and tilt capabilities and the fact you can use the parent unit AND an app. It's great. Thanks.

So in a larger house etc or lots of walls, the range of the device is limited. Is the solution attach the monitor to WIFI thats good and strong where the camera is with the monitor and then leave the monitor in the same room (as the camera) then add the mobile device? In this way the mobile device can be anywhere in the house (different access point) or outside (using cellular) to gain access through the vtech cloud, to the wifi connection in the house (to the camera provided by the monitor in the same room) ?????
Can you connect the camera and the parent unit using the direct mode and use wifi only to view on your phone or do both the camera and phone need to connect using wifi at the same time?
I’m sure you can. I switched my parent unit to auto mode. So it switched back from WiFi to direct as it sees fit. We never loose connection with our phones.
Hi :) I’ve been thinking of buying this Vtech baby monitor, but cannot find anywhere if the light for night vision is visible in a dark room? The light sensor on most baby monitors is quite bright and my baby is sensitive about that, so this would help in deciding of buying or not. Thanks!
im still stuck on connecting to baby unit 1 any help? ive tried resetting both devices and turning on and off and moving other locations of the rooms. any help please?
Hi great video thank you!! I have subbed your channel… Can you use the WiFi (access via smartphone) and also the supplied video monitor at the same time or is it one or the other? Thanks
great video, but i was just wondering does the baby camera have to be plugged into the mains to operate or can it be charged up and used wirelessly?? many thanks.
Did you ever have connection issues? We have the Vtech with the 2 cameras and always lose connection. Also can you add an additional camera? Thanks so much!
Not sure if you already know since this comment was 6 months ago, but there is a package that comes with 2 cameras :) I just bought it on target.com “VTech Digital 7" Video Monitor with Remote Access - RM7766HD-2”
Is there a delay in the picture or is it jumpy? Also can the screen be turned off but sound left on overnight? We need a new monitor for our daughter who has seizures but picture needs to be very clear with no delay and we need to be able to hear her at all times without the screen being on and bright in our bedroom. Would appreciate any help. Thanks
Does the wifi connection works only between the baby unit and smartphone or also between baby unit and monitor?? I have range problems in my house, if the monitor is connected to the baby camera also by wifi (no matter the range or distance) it would solve my problems
At first I thought. Yes you can, then I tried it and nope. You can not use the mother unit and your phone at the same time to view the video feed from the camera.
I’m sorry to hear that. Have you been on any message boards on this product? I hope that does not happen to mine. Anyone can shoot me another message in 8 months and I’ll let you know if mine is still working. But so far so good!
Mine as well stopped working not even 4 months with it. Bought another one same thing happened. One day one of them worked again. Then stopped working. Haven’t found anyone with same issue.
@@FrankGuest we both work 6 days a week so yeah I wouldn't leave my child alone, and that goes for alot of the UK working family's whole alot of different to the USA,

Great review….the quality of the camera looks good
Thanks!
Does its AC adapter support 220v AC input? or just 120V?
Does this one have any hardware to be put up over a crib?
Can the parent unit and the app being used simultaneously?
I bought one today have to say I'm really happy with it. Our old vm5251 wasn't bad but for fifty more dollars you get a lot more camera and screen
Glad you like it. Ours is still great!

I do not think this one is great for this purpose
Also are the cameras wireless?
Hi this hele ? Can you use this device with an Android phone as well or
Can the camera recording last a whole day?

The only light on the camera is the power light. That light stays on for about 5 seconds when the camera is turned on and then it goes out.
How do you go back to direct mode from Wi-Fi mode?

Hi 👋
Could you possibly tell me if this requires a subscription for the app to view on the phone and have all the features as I seen others that do
I did have to sign up for an account. But the account is free.
@@FrankGuest thanks for taking the time :)

It can be used wirelessly.
How ?
Does it emit a bright light when it's dark? Also does it alert the parent unit for noises or baby movements? TIA
No for the bright light and you can adjust the sensitivity for noise and motion.
Did you ever have connection issues? We have the Vtech with the 2 cameras and always lose connection. Also can you add an additional camera? Thanks so much!
I have the same one and one camera just stop working, never connects to wifi or parent unit
Me too
Damn both cameras connected less and less . My smaller single camera unit never had a issue
Can you add a second camera, purchased later, and view both cameras from the same parent unit?
I’m not sure about that one. I’ll have to check.

I'm having issues with connecting one of the cameras, it only has a solid orange light
How DO U REWIND
Can you do a video on reset to factory on Vtech camera 9411c 9020
Can I ask …if the camera screen can be set up to stay on all the time ?
We kept the unit on the entire time our baby was napping. Sometimes that was 2.5 hours. We never left it on over night.
Is there a delay in the picture or is it jumpy? Also can the screen be turned off but sound left on overnight?

Waiting for answer
Has anyone had problem connecting camera to parent control unit? Literally just took it out if box and cannot get it to pair up
Did you manage to get it working? having the same problem
Is the camera wireless or does it need to be plugged up to work?
It needs to be plugged into power to work.
Does the night vision have visible red LEDs or are they hidden?
You have the option to turn the red light in or off.
Hi I don’t want the monitor to beep every time the child moves out of space. Does this monitor do this please. Thanks
You can go into the settings and turn the motion off. That should stop the beeping.
Does the wifi connection works only between the baby unit and smartphone or also between baby unit and monitor?? I have range problems in my house, if the monitor is connected to the baby camera also by wifi (no matter the range or distance) it would solve my problems
The monitor should connect to the baby unit. Or use the app and watch from your phone.
Can you use the camera without having it plugged in? The actual camera?
No
We have this one. It is great.
How do you like it. We like ours.
Thanks for saying this cause I literally just bought one for my cousin for her baby shower

Why don't you test it.
Mine keeps start to beep at most inconvenient time …I don’t want to resent 2-3 times a day
My monitor keeps beeping
WHY? How can I turn it off?
Is it dual voltage?
Sorry. But I do not know the answer to that.
It won’t even let me go past the sync mode 😢
We have this system and one of the cameras keeps going offline every time 😔
Mine actually just $hit the bed. I trashed it.
Hi Bro , can you help me
Our monitor just stopped turning on after 8 months. Has anyone else had this issue?

Router seems pointless why would you leave your kid at home why your at work ??? 🤣🤣
Really? Your not interested in watching your child rest while your at work or at the store while your significant other is home with the child? I do.
