I've been flying this airplane for 9 years. I'm about to do my 10th and final renewal and will move on to a much bigger bird. When my career is all said and done, the 1900 will be the one that stole my heart. What a fantastic machine. Great video.
What an epic machine! I have to agree with what you have said. Flown her all over Africa and she's safely delivered me home everytime with a massive grin on my face. What a great time.
@johndonald3566 Same here, great plane. Had to go to Chicago or Minneapolis to do an A check or another maintenance task. We were on the taxiway behind a massive DC10. The DC10 throttled up to enter the runway & I thought ' with all the airflow over our wings, how are we NOT going airborne?!' Beech 1900s, great planes. Don't wrench on them any more, but in the short time I did - a lifetime of great memories 😊
That's exactly what it's like in the cockpit side of one of these great planes. Very reliable birds. I wrenched on them back in the day, they're great planes. Love 'em. A 19000C freight hauler flys over me almost every evening. I can still it's a Pratt & Whitney PT6 by the sound. I look up & say 'Hi girl ' with big smile. Loved those planes.
Great video! I wish you had shown all of the short approach. That was pretty cool. Many times upon returning to Austin with a student they would ask for a short approach to get us in before an inbound airliner. It seems most of the time it would be on the right side of a 12,000' runway so we'd land long with a tight turn right in front of an airliner holding short. It was fun practice of skills followed by a discussion of speed and attitude with students about maneuvering flight.
The only way this could be better was without the music. Even though I fly busn. jets, I am a fan of the 1900D. Family friend owns one and I like the room. Hope to see more from you. Be safe up there.

I used to A&P wrench on 1900C's - Great planes. Loved working on them & still miss it. Big Sigh...

The Beech 1900 is a beauty. I would gladly pitch in some $$ towards Fuel if someone needs a co-pilot/ride-along for a local flight from KMLE or KOMA.
Av gas? I used to fuel them all the time at the red deer airport in alberta and they used jet fuel I believe the engines are turbo prop
CaptainSavage Yes, definitely turboprop. My son flies these for Air Georgian.
Well I was just being generic with my fuel statement. The same offer applies whether its Jet-A, JP-4, JP-5.
