I usually just explore tulsa riverside and look for deep pools. It's a hit or miss tho. The fishes move around alot, and the sands constantly shifts. This area was nice and deep in the video. But towards the end of summer. It was on 1feet deep.. it completely changed.. but do try zinc dam by the gathering place.
There's parking all along riverside drive.. you could just park at any of those parking lies and walk down. Just be aware of sink holes and water release at keystone dam
@@TheMengyHer yeah, just have to walk and hit up the deeper pools around there. They do move around alot. But if you find them they'll be pretty stacked
Been following your page and videos , I just moved to Tulsa 1 year ago and been wanting to do some fishing but don't know where, would like to come out with you sometime. Where did you park and how do you get down to that spot to fish?
Hey man, ive been fishing for a striper for well over 15 years now never caught one, I fish on the Arkansas river but in more of a current area, coweta to be exact if u google maps it go towards the bottom of coweta and you'll so a bend in the river that's where I fish, any tips? I only catch cats, even with top water it's bs.. I went yesterday and got a 15pd bluey
How's the water level there. I usually just fish the river during summer. Them stripers will be more concentrated in deeper pools or in the currents. How do you get to that spot? Lmk, I don't mind joining you one day
@@sukieoutdoors7422 I just drive up to it, there's a road that goes up next to it, just have to walk about 5 feet thru some grass, and there is good strong current few little pockets where the current isn't at, probably behind a tree or big rock I can't see, it's usually about 8 feet deep because it's a instant drop off, deepest may be 12 and then there's a few spots with like 1 to 4 feet where the current really picks up and drops off to deep water, and for sure man I'd be down, anyway to contact u? I have Instagram and Facebook messenger I have a few pictures of the place I can send to u

71st Bridge and hwy 44 bridge
What bridge
Hwy 44 bridge. But this was last year. The sand has long been shifted. It's no long a deep pool. It is about 1ft or deep
Your rod, is it the 9’6 medium or the medium heavy?
It's a heavy power fast action rod.
