first time recording my hunt. short clip of my double kill the other day.

We found them stripers in the deeper pools along the Arkansas River the other day. the result was some good top water action, one of the best so far this year. we didn't keep any of the fish, it was just a catch and release day for us. rod- St. croix legend elite salmon rod reel- shimano sradic fl 5000 lure- weightless fluke camera- insta360 one R

The morning started out slow, then they started hitting like crazy. it sure was a tough fishing experience though. 20mph wind on a bridge, the net rope was a bit too short, so we had to drag them along the wall. but we still manage to limit out. I Went back to keystone dam after work to try and catch me a striper. Evening run was really good, I was able to land 3 stripers. Two of them were over 10lb. catfish and drums were still hitting on lures. overall, I had a good time fishing and chatting with the 2 keystone locals. Even though I didn't land a striper or hybrid, I still had a great time fishing with my family and friends. slow day, but I manage to catch 2 drums and a few catfish. it'll get better soon, the spawn is just getting started. I decided to check out low water dam over the weekend. it is by far one of the best top water action I've had this year. hybrids and white bass were blitzing like crazy right after the big storm that passed by. none stop action all morning. I started out catching white bass and hybrids with 3/4oz jig heads and small swimbait. then I notice some nice blow ups. so I decided to switch to using weightless fluke as topwater lure.
