Anyone who thinks that Crow and either of the Thomas's do not discuss SC matters is a fool. Of course they will not tell the truth about this, or anything else for that matter. Thomas and his despicable best friend spouse need to be impeached and removed.

    • @Reflectiveness
      @Reflectiveness Год назад

Crow was responsible for putting Thomas wife on a $150,000 per year salary for pushing his agenda. And all the chief justice could come up with is Crows, my friend, and I asked around and got an okay.
This is corruption at the highest level.

And early the morning of that day the news came out that there was a woman found by the FBI who had been sexually harassed by him, when I heard it on my radio my very first reaction was : "Uh-oh...".
Every yr on the anniversary of those hearings I marked the occasion by writing in to to.the editorial papers of the local publications.

We now have the technology to end the buying of elections in the US. We can replace the billions of dollars ($17 billion in 2020) with under $2 in taxes from each citizen and create the Public Political Channel And Radio System where ALL candidates will have free and equal access to time slots assigned by public daily lottery. If there are 52 candidates, we divide 24 hours by 52 and give each candidate an equal opportunity to state their case.
As each candidate gives their speech, we will run their record across the bottom of the screen, in plain English, so we all can understand what bills they have authored, supported, and voted for.
Because actions speak louder than words.
We ban all paid political ads.
We ban all political donations especially those from special interest groups, corporations, and private citizens. We ban the PACs. With free and equal access to the Public Political Channel System to get their messages out, billions in campaign donations will not be needed. We will save a bundle!
Social sciences have proved that people vote for the most familiar names that they hear over and over. Advertisers know this.
      Politicians know this.
Elections are too easy to buy because of this.
Aren’t you sick of hearing their names over and over and being programmed?
Politicians are loyal to their financial backers instead of the American people. We live in a corporate dictatorship where the rich race for donation dollars.
We can make politicians race for our support instead as they use their policies to inspire our votes.
We have had enough spoiled rich kids in office. It’s time for brilliant people without $100,000 to spare to compete in US politics.
Imagine how many kids could be taught to read with $17 billion. We are giving our money to the wrong people.
Please share. Everyone needs to know that there is an alternative to the corrupt system we have now.

Clarence knows what the far right position is on every case and which potential cases for the Court to take up are most critical to the right wing movement. Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society has been training and grooming the right wing judges for decades. In March of this year the Conference issued NEW guidance that clearly indicates "transportation that substitutes for commercial transportation" must be reported (See Guide to Judicial Policy, Vol. 2, Part D, Sec. 170). As for breaking the law, the applicable federal law is 5 USC 13104. That is an administrative rather than a criminal statute. There are no criminal penalties involved. Furthermore, the Judicial Conference is the legal designated agency (Sec. 13102) for administering the law for all judicial officers, including Supreme Court justices.

@@randibgood Thomas does not need a pass from me. It was largely given to him by THE LAW. That law is easily accessible online. Most people are simply to lazy to look it up. Here it is: 5 USC 13104 reads, in part: "any food, lodging, or entertainment received as personal hospitality of an individual need not be reported, ..." Period. Full stop. The entire law of 5 USC Chapter 131 is derived from the Ethics in Government Act of 1989. The specific language I just quoted from Sec. 13104 was contained in the 1989 ethics act from the very beginning. The ONLY indication that transportation might NOT be included was absence of that word in the reporting exclusion. Frankly, that should have been enough to raise questions in Thomas' own mind. He deserves criticism for that. And, in any event, the new reporting requirements guarantee he cannot make that same "mistake" again.
It is also your right to hold him in contempt for an ethical standard that is minimally in general compliance with the law rather than one which substantially EXCEEDS those requirements. But that is largely his choice under the law. And speaking of the law again, Title 5 Chapter 131 is an administrative law. There are NO criminal penalties for its violation by any judge or justice. Those are the legal facts of the matter. My personal opinions about those facts don't mean squat.
