That’s actually not true. Yes some conditions do make it hard to loose or gain weight but YOU have to be putting the food in your body and not doing much exercising for you to get obese. Plenty of people have those medical conditions and are in very good health. It’s lack of self control.
That is so true. I only found out at 50 that I have a hormonal problem. I starved & was forced to starve from the age of 14. At 69 I weigh less than I did at 18. I eat whatever I like without a guilty conscience & panic. I have learnt to eat enough good food at meal time. No space for snacking rubbish.
That is not true, Thyroid issues can in most cases be fixed within reason with medication I know I have a thyroid issue and so does my mother and sister, it runs in our family. But its not impossible to lose weight, now its easier and more true to say it has to do with the food that is affordable to lower class people and families in america. I mean look fast food is super unhealthy but it's affordable, healthy food is next to unaffordable for low income families. I also dont know any hormonal disease that affects' weight but the most common is actually caused by bad eating and obesity.

Society has to remember the fact that not all overweight people are overweight because they choose to be. I’m overweight because I have chronic medical conditions that cause me to gain weight no matter how hard I try to prevent it happening. I have thyroid issues, chronic Lymphodema and advanced skeletal osteoarthritis. Lymphodema is a condition that affects the lymphatic system which causing bodily fluids that should go to your bladder instead become trapped within the inner and outer layers of skin and tissue. I currently have one leg four times the size of my other leg due to chronic Lymphodema. It affect both legs and my upper body. It’s painful, debilitating and very uncomfortable. There’s no cure, it can only be managed by diet, medication and specialised compression dressings. Fluid/water is heavier than fat and muscle. I would do anything not to be afflicted with Lymphodema, but it’s a hereditary condition, you have no say whether you want it or not. I didn’t want these hereditary conditions but I’ve got them and I’ve had to learn to live with them. So maybe, just stop and think before you criticise someone else’s weight and appearance. 💞🇬🇧

Some have hormonal/thyroid and other medical conditions that make keeping weight down near impossible, as hard as we try. No one should ever feel bad about themselves or be shamed.
That’s actually not true. Yes some conditions do make it hard to loose or gain weight but YOU have to be putting the food in your body and not doing much exercising for you to get obese. Plenty of people have those medical conditions and are in very good health. It’s lack of self control.
That is so true. I only found out at 50 that I have a hormonal problem. I starved & was forced to starve from the age of 14. At 69 I weigh less than I did at 18. I eat whatever I like without a guilty conscience & panic.
I have learnt to eat enough good food at meal time. No space for snacking rubbish.
That is not true, Thyroid issues can in most cases be fixed within reason with medication I know I have a thyroid issue and so does my mother and sister, it runs in our family. But its not impossible to lose weight, now its easier and more true to say it has to do with the food that is affordable to lower class people and families in america. I mean look fast food is super unhealthy but it's affordable, healthy food is next to unaffordable for low income families. I also dont know any hormonal disease that affects' weight but the most common is actually caused by bad eating and obesity.
@@roslyngraf1737 Not gonna lie it sounds more like an eating disorder then a hormonal one, the starvation could in fact caused your body to have a hormonal disorder but i dont think your weight is do to said disorder. You might want to see a therapist just so you can rule any of that out.
@@Jessaroonie23I had hormone and thyroid issues, corrected with medication and a change of diet. Too many use thyroid, big bone, hormone as an excuse. Thyroid meds are cheap ie on the Walmart cheap list for about 4 dollars.

Society has to remember the fact that not all overweight people are overweight because they choose to be. I’m overweight because I have chronic medical conditions that cause me to gain weight no matter how hard I try to prevent it happening. I have thyroid issues, chronic Lymphodema and advanced skeletal osteoarthritis. Lymphodema is a condition that affects the lymphatic system which causing bodily fluids that should go to your bladder instead become trapped within the inner and outer layers of skin and tissue. I currently have one leg four times the size of my other leg due to chronic Lymphodema. It affect both legs and my upper body. It’s painful, debilitating and very uncomfortable. There’s no cure, it can only be managed by diet, medication and specialised compression dressings. Fluid/water is heavier than fat and muscle. I would do anything not to be afflicted with Lymphodema, but it’s a hereditary condition, you have no say whether you want it or not. I didn’t want these hereditary conditions but I’ve got them and I’ve had to learn to live with them.
So maybe, just stop and think before you criticise someone else’s weight and appearance. 💞🇬🇧

Alot of the bashing that big people get comes from people not understanding why they dont feel ashamed. Its not from a place of concern, they aren’t trying to help you, they simply dont see why you aren’t miserable being fat because they know they would be or are or were. Wanting someone to be ashamed and miserable sounds crazy. It makes you sound miserable. Losing weight takes months, even years to do! The crazy part is, some people do feel miserable and sad from being fat but Of course eventually people are gona enjoy their lives and achieve their other goals and be happy. I do think she's a beautiful woman with a very nice figure! I will say though we do need to instill in society as well as loving who we are that being healthy increases life longevity! I will also say my husband at 29 loves me 175 lbs over 140 lbs anyday! ! Im 5"10 I've been 140lbs to 180lbs at 43 yr old!! I feel much more driven , energetic and lively for my 4 girls at 150 to 160 then ever at 180! We should not shame but teach the importance of eating healthy staying active to build healthy lifestyles not beauty!!
