Hey man, just wanted to let you know I found a job, so in a couple of months I'll finally be able to book a few lessons with you. I'm happy because I've been wanting to do this for as long as I've known your channel, and because you deserve all the support we can give you. In the meantime, thanks for the content, you are the GOAT.
I have to say, I've watched so many different music production videos in my 7-8 years worth of producing, and I do not think I learned more, or was given more tools in a single video than I did here. So many doors opened, and the ability to craft the sounds/automations I am hearing in my head is now possible. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge
I’m only commenting cuz you told me to buy your videos are dope and you’re clearly showing how to make good sounds not just how to use the software like most videos, keep it up!
Yo dude - you got the best leftfield bass tutorials on YT hands down. I like how you break down each sound every time (even tho a lot are similar in terms of wavetable shapes and stuff) - it helps me a TON in my sound design creation and process. Keep up the great work!
16:59 got chills hearing that sub 🥺 I'd say actually play the riff on keyboard. I've been drawing it with the curser for about ten years and regret every second of it. A good monotone rhythm might not sound good with different notes. It's better to organically create both of them together.
Your vids have been *pun intended...instrumental to my sound design, thank you!🙏...love that you focus mainly on ableton stock plugins, however as far as 3rd party plugins go...Space Echo from AudioThing is thee absolute SUPERSAUCE!
yo man, all i have to say is thank you. sound design has been the most difficult thing for me since starting to produce EDM because there arent very clear tutorials on how to do it, they either move too fast without explaining or you wont even get the sound you were really looking for, until I found you. I've used your tutorials to make 3 or 4 songs from scratch that i am REALLY proud of so, thank you. You got my sub all day.
Hey bro I use loopcloud its sick totally worth it.. thanks for the tutorial! I have been Djing with gritsy for along time and am starting to produce blessings
some other artist's that i feel have been pushing boundries that would be super fun tutorials i feel like are def : Vctre, l*o*J, Jordynmoody love the material btw!
So glad I found your channel, just what I was looking for - thank you! Can you touch on the reverb a bit more real quick? I notice you have one per bass, do you do anything to each to make sure they're all cohesive or am I overthinking this?
Wow. I rarely use the stock synth plugins in ableton anymore( besides drum bus and EQ8). Have to give the FM synth another try. Haven’t touched it in years but those were some nice harmonic sounds. Thanks for the tips and inspiration.
Loved this tutorial man thank you so much! Just saw them for the first time here in Portland and it was mind blowing (of course). When I try the discord link it says invite invalid, any chance you could help me out?
I don't use Ableton live but can't you use an instrument and effects rack for the mid bass and sub to bypass copy pasting? In FL studio I would just make a Layer channel and set both as it's children.
Loving your tutorials, you are helping in so many ways! One thing though: I tried remaking the second bass synth, the one with the kind of riser LFO and I noticed that your sound, as soon as you put on the first FM sounds like the pitch of the note was oscillating and mine did not do that even though I think (!) I did everything exactly as you did. Am I missing something?
@@BuntingMusic just realized I have standard and it’s only available on suite. been a few years since I bought it just finally exploring it now. Thanks for your help!
Ternion Sound is my fav band
This channel alone has increased my production Xp by tenfold

You're asking why someone would pay for one on one instruction when they already have free videos, articles, forums, etc.?

I cover my approach to mixing/mastering here:

Do you put any amount of global groove on the track, if so what do you use?
there is no global groove being used!
A mickman tutorial would be dope
