Hey Nick I know this is an older video, but Wow I had the same exact problem with three of the same tires on my F-350. You might think one was fluke but Three of the four tires! Heck I only had put them on two years earlier. Turns out when a tire shop had installed them they were some New Old Stock and the Date on the tires were barely in date when they were installed. Heck I didn't even know tires had an expiration date. Turns out the internal belt was giving way. So after watching your video I guess this is a problem with the Nitto Terra Graplers. Glad you guys were all right. Thanks for sharing. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
It wouldnt suprise me at all if something came apart inside the tire, I have seen sidewalls bulge out , tread start to separate on tires with hardly any miles, its just a manufacturing defect. I had one place try and tell me that it was normal, I told the guy, no that's indicative of a problem on the manufacturing side and you can just give me a new tire.... Good to see you got it solved nick, nice detective work of just going thru the possibilities and narrowing it down to the issue
I once had the nuts that hold the tail shaft of my trans back out. Only noticed it after going over a speed bump and hearing a clunk. This was in a 2000 e350 van with an auto trans. I actually lost one of the two nuts. Ford sells the nuts in a four count for an application that requires two. I have also had belts separate on numerous occasions with a few different brands of tires and of course front rotor issues too. F series and E series do share quite a few components.
Don't do twenties please don't the stock Alcoa's look amazing And instead of getting new rims do what I did sandblast the clear coat off of them get jewelers rouge for aluminum and a high speed jewelers will to go on a buffer in repolished them
I’ve had tire on my ranger burst on freeway after belt broke. Swerved and missed hitting SUV. But the look on her face when she saw my tire burst and truck shooting towards her was crazy! Loving the 7.3! Thanks. By the way, what was the ride I saw in the garage at end of video? Mustang?
I just went through the exact same thing. Found 2 tires on my 3/4 ton with tread separation. I wouldn't blame cheap tires for the issue either. I have had a full set of 4 Dunlops and the two most recent were Toyo R/T go bad like that. Luck of the draw in my opinion.
In in shock buddy, that is so dangerous I had one blow out on the motorway in my fully laden van at 70mph......i needed new underwear once I had stopped it.... There was hardly any tyre left and the steel was bent on the wheel.... Wouldn't want anyone to have to go thru that
You can't check a driveline with the truck in park.... It is under tension from being jacked up(or being on a slight hill)... You need to put it in neutral and relieve the tension. As for the separated tire, it Happens to ANY brand of tire... it is not at all uncommon and makes ZERO Difference as to what brand the tire is.
Tire separation. can be result of old tires, bad belts, hercules are china branded tires. most Chinese tires (ling-long, blackhawk, and aeolus) are known for it
You can’t check your RUclips you joints on the river in with it sitting on the ground get Jack up your room where it’s free then he might be able to see that your you joints in your carrier
Buying cheap tires and not checking them when you drive 80mph is like penny reloaded 22lr in a revolver in a life or death situation.......cheap tires are patch job I've never heard and seen with straight proof a odometer reading date and cheap tires match some bfgs nitto toyos Goodyear's ECT
I've had a 1997 1 ton with a stick in it and I were two thousand one I found them in the clutch take to ship the Springs Fallout all the clutch yeah you'll have a transmission shake like that check your clutch off inspection plate cover you'll find Springs at the bottom
In this truck the clutch plate has Springs in it and weights the Springs fall out at about a hundred thousand miles and the clutch and transmission starts shaking very violently that was my experience I had to replace two of them

buy 10-12 ply E rated tires, youll never see a problem like this if you buy a good quality tire rated for the weight of this truck.
I gotta save up get me some 20s or something, it would make the truck look great
I even run load range E or 10 ply on my escalade

I had the same issues with Cooper Tires and they just Suck! Go for BFGoodrich or Yokohama, they are pricey but it's always safety first!

Your front tire is suffering from separation anxiety..lol...glad you caught it early, that could've been messy.
Yes Indeed

That's so scary mate, glad you found it before it blew up on you.
How old is the tire? Even 10 ply Load range E tires will separate if over inflated or just too old.
Have no idea how old
FixItNick
All tires have date codes on them..
It will be a 4 digit number week/year
What are the date codes on those tires?
Nick, are you going to do any work to the inside of the F350, that carpet is looking very tired
Why you talk so damn much just do the damn thing
Belt separation have had that twice before, both times with the same type of tires...
265/75/16, kendall klever a/t. I love them I have them on my truck, 40,000 un rotated miles and I finally need new ones
Yea I need to save up to upGrade all of them
900 for all 6 mounted balanced with warranty
313dieselguy I want do 20s maybe not sure yet

Why badmouth the truck? It's a bad tire ,probably from China. That's the problem.

Agreed, Hercules tires are junk.
Try made in thailand... they are literally the cheapest tire you can buy...

Cheap tires have same manufacturing process as any other. You pay for the name.
did you turn off 4 wheel drive and hubs??
The video game walk with the camera 😆😆😆
Lol I was wondering seeing if anyone will notice good catch
Separation of the belts are not uncommon. Thank God that you stopped driving until you get the front tires replaced
Sucks when a tire goes bad like that
I orderd the same leveling kit as yours any tips to make it go on better/easier?
Yea it’s a pain to get it aligned, sis u see my leveling kit vid?
Yes I watched the video. And I saw how you aligned it. Also you make great videos and you explain things very well. And thank you for the reply
Ironic that Hercules Tires was the advertiser for this video! 😂
The issue is belt separation. All brands had this issue. Now there is a nylon or polyester belt ove the steel belt for a belt bond to the tread.
Good to know
Michelin is solution.
I need to save up to upgrade all of them
MWM SUPREMACIA
Nah BFGoodrich is the way to go
I used to always buy average priced tires until I finally bought Michelin’s. Well worth double the cost. All I run now.
@@281CubicInchesOfFreedom you do know Michelin owns the BFgoodrich brand, right?
Dallas-A
Yes, but Defenders and KO2s are two drastically different tires.
0:01 THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID

Gets some bfg ko2's there expensive but they'll look sick. But I don't know what there rated for.
I had 3 of 4 Goodyears do this, walmart replaced them no problem.
Tire separation. can be result of old tires, bad belts, hercules are china branded tires. most Chinese tires (ling-long, blackhawk, and aeolus) are known for it
I never heard of these before and don’t wanna ever lol
Nick you have a blown belt in the tire
Shifted or broken steel bands yes happened to me
Definitely saw that the tire is not round.
Weirdest thing I seen
Broke a belt in the tire, get a good quality 10 ply tire
Yea with that might weight she needs good quality tires
Toyos will set you back a good penny but 10ply is worth it
Cheap tires do that. Spend a little more and you shouldn't have tread separation like that. What's the warranty on those Chinese tires?
That's why you dont buy cheap shitty tires.... especially on a heavy vehicle...
Get bfgoodrich ko2 never had a problem with them pull 45 ft toyhauler monthly with them
Good catch could have been a bad day.
Take care bud there is 2000 pounds of motor and trany on front end.
Yup if not more, truck is 8,000 pounds, probmore like 4-5k
@@FixItNick i know i got one lol
I pay about $800 for a set of rock stars wheels for my 2002 at 350.
A sepo'd Hercules....surprise surprise

Broken belt there bud
Check the drive line
I guess you didn’t see the problem
Saw the whole video I drive a 18 wheeler same problem was happening I checked my drive line and found a worn out universal joint
Never heard of this brand of tires. From outer Mongolia perhaps?
Rotors don't warp , buy good tires !
no, but Brakes can go out of alignment like wheels.
Rotors only lose thickness in certain spots that's why they say warped ..
I guess you never had warped rotors. Rotors warp
@@FixItNick I've never used cheap rotors either ..
Jeremy Landphier OEM rotors warp

is this in english?

Cooper A/T3 tires man
Cooper and Hercluies tites are the same.Made in the same plant, in the same mold.. Hercluies is a off name.
That's what you get when you buy Chinese tires that's all around tire the end of cords is busted on it so change them both out and by American Tires
If you rotate tires and accidentally change the direction of what they have been ran it can ezly bust a belt and that's what's wrong here
My superduty done that. I had to buy two new front tires.
I think maybe I’ll put good ones on front safer
@@FixItNick Rear Tyres should always be the best ones.
It's round-ish.
Broken belt in the tire
Yup
U broke a cord in the tire nothing crazy
Still crazy scary tho lol
Change tire
✌️😎
Holla
You get what you pay for..... I like toyo tires
Yea these are cheapo
@@FixItNick it's a good thing you found your problem before it killed your truck's suspension lol you have a nice truck i like it
Put Toyo my tires on it
I need to save up to upgrade all of them
Hercules is a shitty tire go with a firestone tire
Buy shitty tires get shitty results. You're putting your life and the lives of others at risk to save $300 dollars
We fixed here in my country but another car like Toyota....perfect man👍
What you talking about lol
COULD BE A UNIVERSAL JOINT ON ONE OF YOUR DRIVESHAFTS.
Clickbait title much ? haha Its something thats happens over time with use of tires
Tread separation....
