Mate !!!! This was such an informative video, I’m so stoked you’ve put the effort into doing this! Got a 72 cb450 with running engine but no lights at all! No gage lights gear lights. Now I’ve got direction. Total Legend 👍
Had to tell you that thanks to your videos, I'm almost done. I hope anyone starting a project, WATCH YOUR VIDEOS! I'm to a point of just figuring where to anchor my harness. My tank is at the paint dude and I would have liked to check the tank fitting to where I anchor my harness. Mine is the 1975 cb 360t. THANK YOU SO MUCH. BTW. I used everything you did. I used file tags (peel tags) and separated each branch of wiring. Cuts the work by 2/3rds by not having to flip through a bowl of spaghetti for the right noodles each time. FOLKS...THIS GUY KNOWS HIS STUFF. Thanks buddy.
I pulled the whole harness off my 1970 CB750. I started with were power goes in to the harness and followed the wiring diagram. I found that my main harness is good , handle bar switches are junk and that someone wired in a key switch backwards. I labeled every single wire . I was pretty intimated by the headlight bucket mess but now that its all labeled, Im not dreading installation as much. Basically i went through each function 1 at a time. It was a lot easier than leavingeverything on the bike. Thanks for the videos, they definitely help me out.
Hi . Ive been trying to sort out wiring on my usa k5. The wiring was a mess ,you guys make it look so easy. I put a new left hand control , little did i know its got smaller guage wireing and bullet connectors. Diffrent colours nothing joins up.3months and $280 for a auto sparky who got everything working , but when i fitted headlight theres so much wireing in there i couldnt fit it suitably and most of his work came apart. Im very disappointed and angry .
I’m sorry this happened to you. Getting a continuity tester is helpful in tracking down wire routes. It’s easy if everything is stick, start throwing in aftermarket parts and things go sideways very quickly
I can't thank you enough for these vids you've done. They have been a godsend to my rebuild. I wish it was a 75 360t but most of it's the same. Still. I want to buy that Honda book of yours or pay you to reproduce it.
I'm working on a cb 450 (74) and found this to be really helpful. If I may, could you explain the battery set up that you used to test the connection? I have the ignition connected and of course the battery but I get nothing when I turn the ignition on. Like, not even a hint of power going anywhere.
One more thing. If you're doing a 360, tons of this are the same. 350/360/360t have lots of similarities. If you are doing a 360 and following these great instructions but find a single brown wire in the HL basket wires with no brown connector, don't worry. It's a parking light hot. You don't have to do anything with it. It's a key on hot so I'm going to put a charger plug or a battery charge led indicator using it.
FIRST, And don’t think I didn’t catch that Packers Jab. This is pretty stellar video on wiring Brian. Wiring can be so intimidating for even people that understand electrical. Good Job…. GO PACK GO!
Well done. I saw your other vid and you didn't finish with the coils. I have the same coils from CMC. It didn't look like you connected the new double condenser but I can see it on this view. My condenser has two reds on has a black rubber ring that comes from the back of the condenser and the other from the front. Both are red. Does it matter which blue coil in attaches to? Also, the yellow and blue from the points, I think it matter which combination they are plugged in. I have a 360 but it's almost the same and I've used your vids to correctly complete a ton of work. Help me with this answer. I'm so close to finishing
This has to be one of the best videos I’ve got one question, I got might headlight on and the high and low beam function works great, but the off position doesn’t turn the light off - have any ideas on how I could go about fixing that?
Could you tell me details of the wiring harness that you are using for your video for the honda cb350 please. As my harness is different and it is hard to follow. I would de very grateful for your help thanks. MAC
I am at this point and Im skeert. Luckily, I have been doing electrical CAD for 35 years and can read a diagram.... just need to find the right one for my CB350 K1. 🙄
I was shocked when I saw so many wires behind the headlight. THANK YOU. subscribed
It can be intimidating for sure. But one piece at a time and you’ll get there! 😊

You’re very welcome.

So glad! Your comment made my day.

Good job! Yeah. One thing at a time is a good approach. Otherwise it’s just too much. Hope the 750 colors were similar. Glad the vids helped!
I couldn't have done it without you my guy! Thanks a billion!
Glad the vids helped you save a vintage Honda.
Exactly what I needed! Thanks so much.
No problem!
Thanks!!! This helped so much.
Fantastic. Glad it helped you out.

Ground off battery to frame. Is a must. Nothing will work without that.

Totally correct. Apparently UK bikes had a front running light. It’s unused.

Where you hung up? Let me know.
Great job! Wrenchers for many years to come will be in your debt!
Great to hear, man. That was the goal.
This has to be one of the best videos

Hmmmmm. Gotta be in the switch somehow I would guess. I’m really not sure. Usually that’s the easy one. Lol. Getting them on is the tricky part.
Hello, Thank you for your video. May be you can help me, Then I turn on side light, It will lightning both! and I dont know how fix it!
Sounds like you’ve got an orange/blue cross over. Check your grounds!
Do you happen to have pictures or a video of the starter cable routing?
I do: ruclips.net/video/91LSAuDZv8Y/видео.html
Where do you get those triple/quad connectors? Really struggling to find something as convenient as those
I cut them out of the old harness.
Could you tell me details of the wiring harness that you are using for your video for the honda cb350 please. As my harness is different and it is hard to follow. I would de very grateful for your help thanks. MAC
I ordered a new 350 harness from Sparck Moto. About 120 bucks.
Good to see some work done on the Apocalypse bike.
It’s really close, man.
What regulator/rectifier did you use? Did you find one that plugs into the original harness?
Spark Moto. Plugs right in

I believe in you.
Where do you hook up the ignition coils
Would this wire harness work with my Honda cx500 1980 ?
Unlikely but I’m sure there are similarities
I would kill for the same vidéo for my cb77
I’ve got one in the shop!
you should frame that ragged wire diagram when your finished, just as a reminder.
Definitely!!
Hello very good video on this but where did you get that wire one liner ?
I am not sure what you mean. Can you clarify?
Thank you
You’re welcome!
excellant
Glad you enjoyed it.
How different is this from a CM
I’d assume it is pretty similar at least colors, etc.
