Wow, super useful. Never had any idea that you could drag plane to where you wanted the flip to occur. I have a whole new respect for the flip tool. Thanks!

Still hitting the S-key -1. Can't get used to it. But now I will give it another go.

I was, but the flip across by dragging the plan is a gamechanger - saves me so much time

Great Vid Justin, It's a great tool! As I come from many many years of 2D AutoCad drawing I found this tool and its versatility so quick and easy to use and so much more intuitive than a lot of Sketchup tools.

I love the flip tool now, but I avoid using it as much as possible simply because it causes a really strange bug in Twinmotion where it gets confused about the axes and it completely screws up the rendering when path tracing. I have to explode the group and regroup it every time to fix it. It also happens with any grouped item I rotate within another grouped item. It's really annoying to deal with.

Interesting - Are you mirroring inside a grouped object? What it might be doing is messing up the objects relative to the object axes inside the group, which can mess up the way the object works in Twinmotion

@@Thesketchupessentials That's definitely what happens when I rotate an object that is within a grouped object. But mirroring causes that but no matter what. It can just be grouped, raw geometry and the mirrored version will have the lighting completely messed up with path tracing. That's when I have to explode and regroup to fix it. I do believe it has something to do with how Twinmotion interprets the axes.
