Global 2020s Decade-End List (Updated to: 02/24/2024)

Hi all! Unlike the decade-end list for the Hot 100, this list hasn't seen any radical change in its weekly weightings, so any movement featured in this video is more or less just the results of the gains from the hits currently charting on the Global 200 list. As of now, the Global decade-end list has been updated to the latest chart available (chart dated to 02/24/2024).

The following video aims to represent the best charting songs throughout the 2020s following their weekly positions on Billboard's Global 200 list, as well as Spotify's Global chart for the first eight months of 2020. As we're currently in the fifth year of the current decade, solely the top 50 songs up to this point in time have been included.
This list uses an inverse-point system, in which songs at no.1 gain the greatest amount of points, while songs at no. 100 gain the least (songs below 100 do not gain any points). Each week is weighted differently following the turnover rate of songs at the top, in order to balance and equally represent each time-period.
