Are we just not going to tell him about the shriekers?! xD Love the overgrown train station, what a vibe! Love seeing your creativity sprouting already!
I'm glad to see you're enjoying shaders. Depending on the shaders you have, they'll bring different features and customizability. For example; In regards to your water looking a lil strange, you could see if they have built in settings on the shader (accessible in the shaders menu ingame). My shades allows me to change the transparency and how "clear" water can look, how orange of a color the torches emit among other things. Might help with fine tuning things to look exactly the way you'd like. :D ------------ Regarding planting as you break: You might already be able to do this by holding seeds of the thing you wish to plant, and pressing both left and right click. It's a subtle feature has to allow you to use to remove and replace blocks/objects where the previous one was. (mainly used in creative but might work here since crops break in one hit) ------------ 24:05 That "infected/fungi" stuff (as you call it) is apart of the Deep Dark. Keep exploring and maybe you'll find the things in the Deep Dark that I want you discover. :3
There's no real "beginners" mod but I know of a mod called "essentials", which adds a lot of QoL stuff, though it's mainly commands, such as being able to set warps, setting a home, etc. Not sure if it's something you want to add (as you can essentially do things like typing "/home" to immediately be tp'd back home. I know my friends and I who host MC servers use it though as it makes visiting friends and their bases more accessible.
Suit up with some Iron a diamond sword and hit up that cave, I haven’t played minecraft jn a while and I can say I haven’t seen a cave like that, its like a mineshaft on max level
You should try out the Aether mod! Its an old school mod that adds a “aether” kinda like a nether and has its own items and bosses and dungeons. They just updated it to work with recent versions of MC
also pro tip: have a pure vanilla world and a modded world.. try to keep them separate. future updates can cause bugs/unexpected crashes when mods are involved.
Seeing you add shaders to your world made the vibes even cozier!
yes! It's like the world is giving me a little hug with these shaders on haha

I never used any shaders or mods, but I must admit it does look really nice! Specifically, it seems to make cozy areas more cozy and warm
