I thought it was interesting how at 0:05-0:06 you showed Tubbo and Wilbur all sunshine and rainbows and there’s tommy in all of his flaming glory with no strings holding him down, and then boom they’re not so sunshine and rainbows anymore and tommy is just this- dulled out version of his past self, now forced to deal with these multiple strings as he lets other people control him because at this point he’s got almost no one besides Wilbur and Tubbo’s just on his growing paranoia arc where he’s building these walls of protection for him and his friends and family when really it’s probably going to cause death and the same with Wilbur though he wants to let the “villain” free and just ahhhhhh new subscriber-

No ones really said anything about this yet but I absolutely Love the Dream parts. Where it suggests maybe he wasn’t always a bad guy, maybe he was a hero once, maybe he’s been through some shit over the course of these wars and hatred that made him who he is today.
Im so sick of people justifying his actions. Thats not how it works. Villains are villains. Heroes are heroes. You cant use your sob story as an excuse. Tommy and Wilbur went trough the awful shit too, and everyone syas says that they are "in the wrong". But Dream has had nothing happen to him and he gets called a fucking "hero"? He chose this. His actions have consequences. Hes literally the reason they had to make Lmanberg in the first place, hes the reason so many friendships got broken and why everyone just turned into those souless creatures. He made the choice to do this. Wilbur was literally a pacifist before he went insane. "Fight with your words, not weapons."
And yet he kept pushing, until he broke Wilbur. Then Tommy. That bastard deserves to rot in hell. And dont forget Techno. He helped Dream. I cant believe how easily Dream manipulated Techno into turning against Pogtopia. It only took a few seconds.

If you actually read what I said you would see that I merely suggested that maybe he wasn’t ALWAYS the bad guy, that implies he eventually did become a bad guy. Level 1 logic.
I never said he didn’t deserve a lot of what has happened to him.
I never said the bad things that happened to him justified his actions or who his character is today, only implied that there is an actual explanation for WHY and HOW he got to the point he’s at now besides “der green boi always bad, never ever right brrrrrrrrrr” or “evil, anarchy, chaos, death, green boi bad”
And don’t even bring the creation of L’manburg into this, the creation of L’manburg is the time frame where Dream was right, and *IF* Dream was ever a hero it would have been then.

Ok, you did NOT just discredit c!Wilbur like that! He from the beginning made L'Manberg to "stick it to the man" and of course, that man being c!Dream. C!Wilbur made a propaganda to go against "the tyrant" and when he literally said that was his plan from the start, people still believe that he was the "hero" who tried to make a DRUG EMPIRE with minors, whom c!Wilbur made go to war. He turned c!Tommy and c!Tubbo into children soldiers and people say c!Dream is worst than c!Wilbur?? They are both bad and mentally ill minded. And this is the tip of the iceberg of the bad things c!Wilbur did. He is one of the SOLE reason c!Tommy is who he is now

Edit: I forgot something, fundy had horrible nightmares, and when Wilbur was revived, he blew up his own home. The same one he had nightmares in.
Now that I think about it, fundy has just been looking for someone to appreciate him, as a person, not as a just “haha lol furry” and just move along. He’s been so overlooked. Although it’s all scripted, it’s just kinda.. sad.

Dreams intentions were to steal his discs, once that war finished, he harmed the harmless(le’manberg), then the discs got stolen again, he said himself, he wanted to control the server, he wanted peace and power, but his thirst for power overthrew his desire for peace, and got the better of him, but in the end, it’s just roleplay

Dream is a tragic hero who just wanted peace in the Dream smp. However, he took the peace too far resorting to acts that would make him seem like a villain such as the L’manberg revolutionary war, supporting jschlatt in his endeavors, manipulating tommy, destruction of l’manberg (for good), manipulating Ranboo, leading tommy and tubbo out into the middle of nowhere to kill tubbo and trap tommy in the very prison where he currently resides. A man who wanted peace would resort to war to try to keep said peace.

Really makes me sad seeing what Dream's become. He was so happy, he just wanted peace with his friends. But the more he struggled the harder things became for him.
People say they miss the times when Tommy, Tubbo and Wilbur were in L'manburg, but I miss the times where it was just dream, Sapnap, Gogy, Alyssa just fishing in the doc of the community house :(

I really like the "What if the damsel in distress was living her life, and he took away the one she loved?" And the way it is used.
Wilbur robbed L'manberg from her and Wilbur insanity caused by L'manberg robbed him from her.
And as Wilbur insanity is, obviously, on his mind and part of who he is, but at the same time L'manberg is also that (born of him wanting to be free), he robbed himself from her.
L'manberg was took by the insanity of Wilbur and Wilbur was took by L'manberg. She loved both of them, Wilbur wasn't romantically love, and L'manberg as a place she loved to be.
He in all meanings is Wilbur, just different sides of the three dimensional character he is, the one that was loved the one who took away the loved one. L'manberg and Wilbur.
Maybe if Ghostbur is the ghost of L'manberg, that's why it took his form. It took the form of the one who created it and believed in what it meant.

Now if I'm not wrong she has burned down L'mantree (a tree in the middle of L'manberg) and gone a little bit crazy.

I watch this on a regular basis and the funny thing is that I don't even know much lore. It's just- this is the kind of thing I love. Not only did they build this whole universe people enjoy but all the animatics, the songs, the fanfiction... It's incredible

I like that this version doesn’t portray Tommy as evil in his second, they just portray his “not good-ness” as him being controlled. It’s a really interesting take on his character p!!

This video deserves so much more love. It is amazing and really makes people have a second thought about if anyone in the story is really who they seem to be. It also shows the past and present of how they used to be friends and were happy but now they turned on one another whether it be to protect themselves, get their way or have control in their life. OK! ME AND MY SISTER MADE ⏃ THEORY, (get ready cause this is ⏃ long one :))
So, Me and my sister think that when Fundy, and Tubbo did the “Egg ritual” they actually got rid of Dream. We also assume that the red colour of the dreamon (and the dreamons evil power) mixed with the eggs, to make the egg in the Dream SMP.
We think that the Dreamon or as ⟟ call him “Nighmare” wants control over the server, so he controlled Dream (because the ritual caused Nightmare to control and un control whenever he wants) to do horrible things, then after he got Dream in jail, Nightmare used the egg to start ⏃ army, Nightmare knew that Dream would now not be able to control him (Nightmare) while he is in prison, so it was the perfect time to strike, the army spread and Nightmare used the eggs power for domination.
“But what about Tommy? Why is he immune to the egg?” Well, Tommy is immune to the egg because Nightmare needs Dream to control Tommy, but Dream is in jail, so he can’t control Tommy. So instead of controlling him, Nightmare decided what once Tommy was in the prison with Dream, he would control Dreams body and get rid of Tommy.
So yeah…⟟ realized it’s not that long..if you have any questions I’ll try to answer them!

Technoblade is a calm reasonable person that tries to hold back on violence but seeing deagh or by will techno can become the blood god an unstoppable killing machine that only wants blood and will get it techno occationaly snapps out of the rage if a loved one is at risk
For example when he killed tubbo during the festival he saw death and killed the remaining crowd in bloodythirsty rage
Or doomsday when techno relented and enbraced the blood god for a small bit and won a 1 v 20

Let's face it. If this or something similar were to happen in real life, we'd side with Dream cuz u know... everything. I mean like freedom is something to fight for but the problem is the drugs, which is what lmanburg was based on. I'd rather keep anything on a leash before it causes chaos if it's best and reasonable. Imagining griefing someone's house irl. You can't just get away with it. Of course there'd be consequences. I actually agree with tubbo's decision in exiling tommy cause he just made it worse for himself. He could've gotten away with probation, which is a light punishment considering what he'd done. Even if he's his friend, Tommy shouldn't extort tubbo's position plus someone as irresponsible as him shouldn't have been vice president of a country that is so fragile it could break at any minute. And if Tubbo's wasn't ready to make sacrifices like this for his country, he shouldn't have accepted the position as president. I mean they're kids! (In the lore) There were so much more options that could've ensured the safety and power of Lmanburg. For example Niki. I bet that if she became President, she could've made peace with the dream smp considering her demeanor. And that whole disc saga wouldn't have been even taken seriously. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of the dream smp lore. I'm just looking at these past events realistically. Fight me all you want in the comments but I'm just voicing my opinion :p

Tommy *accidentally* set a very small portion of George’s house on fire while just trying to play a harmless prank. One that probably wasn’t gonna be a part of the actual lore. Then covered for Ranboo in court. I feel like he was justifiably upset when others had done worse with no punishment. He made a mistake like humans do and did pay for it. I don’t think Tubbo was unjustified in his actions but tommy is not a bad guy. He knew what happened wasn’t right and was willing to learn from it. Wilbur shouldn’t have put Tubbo in charge as yes Tubbo was not ready for that kind of responsibility. I’ve noticed that most when tommy has been at his worse it was when he was being influenced by adults with grudges, sapnap, Wilbur, dream, techno. And he does best when people try to understand what he is thinking and understand how he is feeling such as with Sam pre-prison lockdown and puffy.
I actually don’t think you would side with Dream during the exile or prison arcs, those actions are inexcusable, and if done in real life, no one would side with you. While I do agree with you that in the real world people would definitely side with Dream during the L’manburg and Pogtopia arc. I do not think that people could side with Dream after that.
@@itsmxtwist A harmful prank? He was trying to steal from George’s how with Ranboo and yeah sure the fire thing was an accident but no stealing was one of the THREE dsmp rules he broke two of them! Sure one of them was by accident but that doesn’t matter he was the Vice President of l’manburg while he did this which makes it even WORSE. They had there freedom but HAD to go into the SMP and break one of their rules? And do it with the SMP’s King’s house?? He not only put himself and Ranboo in a bad position but his friend and country too. If he did something like that in his own country l’manburg then it probably would’ve been more forgivable and not break the piece, and don’t say he was a kid. He was 17yrs old and if he can’t stop himself from doing that then he’s not fit for his role as Vice President. It was he who broke the peace. And because he didn’t eat Ranboo out too doesn’t really justify his actions.

Oh Dream didn’t properly deal with other who were breaking the rules yet exiles tommy for it when he did it cause others had done it to him as well. Of course a severely traumatized 17 year old is gonna make bad decisions from time to time. Both tommy and Tubbo should not have been in placed of power they were both too young as well as both very traumatized. Dream targeted tommy unfairly. I never said that Tommy didn’t deserve to have no punishment, community service and returning the stolen items would have been a adequate punishment. But instead he was exiled and then traumatized all cause he did stuff that others wouldn’t even get a slap on wrist for. Dream also stole things as well and did grieifing he broke his own rules.
We say that dream is pulling the strings, but dream has no power anymore, dream has nothing because Wilbur is the one pulling the strings, and he has all along.

It takes place in two dimensions, one that is the SMP, exactly as it is, and one that is the exact opposite. In the opposite dimension, everyone is the reverse of who they are in the original dimension… except Tommy. He is the one constant, with the same personality in each dimension, which means that his relationships, since everyone else is the opposite version of themselves, are completely different. Dream is a loyal friend and caring hero, Tubbo is his cold-hearted blood enemy, etc. But for that world’s Tommy, that’s how it’s always been. That’s normal.
The story starts to move forward when the two dimensions collide for a brief moment; no one notices it and nothing much changes, except for the two Tommys. Being the constant, the pivot point, during the collision the two Tommys get switched out, each getting thrown into the other’s dimension, and finding themselves in a world where their closest friends want them dead and their mortal enemies are trying to help them and they have no idea why this happened or how to make things normal again, or that another version of themselves has taken their place in their own dimension and is experiencing the same thing.
And then a few days later I see this masterpiece in my recommended, and man, it seriously reminded me of that idea. It’s cool to know that I’m not the only one who thinks this way lol.

Everything kinda went chaos the moment Tommy joined the server, so I wouldn't blame c!Dream for wanting to get revenge on Tommy who literally tore his perfect big happy family apart and caused sides and wars, and turned so many people against c!Dream.
I have also seen people saying c!Dream could have just let L'Manburg get their independence and he's still the owner of the server, and the wars and sacrifices were not necessary. bRO! Go to the ruler of your country and demand to rule a large piece of land to be completely independent from your country. See if you can succeed without having to fight wars and sacrifice stuff.
So yeah, unpopular opinion: I dislike c!Tommy and I'm a c!Dream apologist.

Seriously though, the song fits the dsmp so well in like there's no real protagonist and unlike traditional fairytales, no one is purely good or evil, just morally grey (dream leaning the most on the black/evil side as he is the main villain), and the characters' fate is just up to them or where the story goes...
