Can a metal guitar do great cleans ?

I was just having a little fun with my latest acquisition the LTD KH V Sparkle. And although the video title mentions the clean tone aspect of this guitar I included some old school Metallica like high gain tones to make it even more fun. As usual i didn’t have anything planned to play instead it was a mix of improvised things and parts of songs that came to my mind lol

Lol quick tip for getting a tight tone just get the american 90s set the gain to like 2,5 and max amp volume(volume not master) and scooped mids) with a all maxed out ts9 (i don't remember how it's called on the Amp, blues thingy )

I personally think EMG's have the best clean sound out of any pickup. They sound so crystal clear and transparent. Ofcourse vintage PAF style pickups also have amazing cleans, but the good ones are double or triple the price of EMG's.
