I bought a Peloton Tread SPECIFICALLY due to the horrid customer service of Nordic track. It’s been a great experience so far and the one issue I had was easily diagnosed and solved without the headache that I may have gotten with Nordic Track. Also the Peloton does have the auto incline functionality now as part of their latest update.
It is obvious, when a company has more customers, communication is a little more difficult, that happens with all the most prestigious companies, but Nordictrack is much better in all the operation of the machine and quality, Thank you.
Same thing here, I was torn ordered the Peloton first and was having buyers remorse, they cancelled it no problem. Then ordered the Nordic Track, thought I made a a good decision until looking through the app, and they do not offer live races and the customer support is terrible. The reviews seem to be incentivized and if the reviews actually reflected the product, I would say NordicTrack is on the decline. The iFit interface is very unorganized and outdated. Based on the interaction I had with Nordic Track (all 12 hours from placing the order to cancellation), I didn't want to be associated with them for the lifetime of my treadmill. Cancelled it prior to shipping and they charged me $600 for it just not to show up at my door. Went with Peloton after this even after having to pay $600 to cancel NordicTrack, and I'm so PLEASED. Game changer, it's amazing. Their customer service is fantastic. Pretty much you get what you pay for, if you don't want Peloton I would recommend getting a high end tread and using a tablet, or anything other than NordicTrack.

Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
I bought the 2022 model of the 2450 in June. Four months into it, the treadmill began stopping mid-runs. It would completely shut down. Not a power issue from my house. It's the machine that just shuts off and comes to a dead stop. So dangerous. 2 months after making my first call to Nordictrack, I finally got all the parts and the service guy came and swapped out every motherboard. We ran a test...and it failed again, just like before. Total waste of money. Yours will not be special...it will break. I weigh 160. This motor shouldn't be "bogging down,"...but that's clearly happening. I wish I could go back in time and buy the Peloton. Hope this helps someone.

Hi I have a question. When I use Technogym Skillrun treadmill with 25% incline at the gym I don't get any back pain, but when I'm using Peloton Tread at home with 12.5% incline I get lower back pain and pressure. What is the reason for that? Does Peloton motion activate a different back muscle group?
I bought the Peloton Tread. Just called to return it. You are fully handcuffed to their membership. If you want to free run. It is just a boring black screen with a circle. The furthest course or scenic run is 10k. So, if you want to run further. You have to run, stop, and then chose another run. Not worth the money.
I just returned my Peloton tread because it was defective it was jerking mid run. I almost hurt myself so badly. The guys that picked it up said they pickup Peloton treads all day long.
Hi, I love your videos and really could use some advice. What would you recommend for a 320lb user? I’m on a 2nd floor apartment so something quiet. I only want to do inclined sped walking, no running, maybe running when I get to 200-250 lbs. something that is very sturdy. But also not too heavy since I’m on the second floor. So yes if you can give me a few options on a treadmill that will hold 325-350lbs, 2nd for friendly, inclined sleep walking, quiet. That would be great! Please let me know ❤️
We are heavy in our house one over 340 lb. We purchased a Soul F80 similar to Nordic in 2010. We have had it serviced once for the dust build up under the belt a few years ago by a business that services the people who do the commercial treadmills at the gym. We call it the beast because it so heavy. So think about these factors ~ if you get a Nordic/ Soul are more meatier as I call it. If you are unsure where this should be placed, a corner of a room is more study support wise. Peloton is slightly noisier. Very hard to resell a Peleton I read by one guy who said you have to sell the package and that is where it gets sticky. Take note, the Peloton can not be moved ~ you can hear about this on this video ~ it does not go up. Nordiac/ Soul (no matter whatever number) the tread can be lifted with ease and it moves easily too. Other note, get it delivered and set up by the delivery people. We made a mistake and had it put in our basement and Sears Canada had packed up. I listed the job on Kijiji (free buy and sell website) and got a guy who used to work for Sears doing this job of setting it up. So it is in our living room in front of the TV and stereo in a corner. Hope this has been of help(?) The other bonus is when you go for a walk outside on the road, it is not the same as a treadmill. Walking you can slow down, or trip, advise weather (in our case, hail, downpours of rain and snow ~ Toronto, Ontario, Canada). So we can walk in temperature controlled environment, any day or night. If anyone trips over, the safety key will fall out with us attached to it and that will automatically stop it. Peleton only thought of this after that accident. I like the quiet, soft tread belt. Best of all I have lost 50 lbs and losing more still. Glad we got this Soul and didn't buy into the Peleton who have been recently purchased by Barry McCarthy (CEO of Next Flix) from founder John Foley. The company has never recovered from that USA child accident where they child died being dragged under it. Too light weight if it can do that. Best of luck and that is my opinion. :~)

Nordictrack is much better in all the operation of the machine and quality, I have been a business for more than 22 years. Technician in repair of exercise machines, in California, Thanks.
How long have you been working for nordictrack
I don't own either, but the NordicTrack does not have a sleek design! It's an awful design! Not even close to Peloton!
Never even consider a peloton product. Horrible engineering and no customer service.
