So sorry for your loss of Chloe. My best friend recently had to put an 11+ year old dog down, so hard on him & the Family😥. Happy 22nd Birthday to Sydney! He's such a handy, hard worker! Boy they sure don't make literally anything like they used to!! An only 3 year old water heater already shot, ugh. Major household appliances are the same. "Maybe" will get 5 to 10 years out of them. Old ones used to last 20+ years easily. It figures that industrial hot water heater is "just" out of the warranty period too. McKenzie sure seems to enjoy driving the tandem truck, grins from ear to ear! Hopefully you can continue with NO more issues, problems or breakdowns now for a good long time!
As a retired truck driver, I love the sound of a diesel working! You ladies do a fine job of driving. Remember, loud pipes save lives!! Farm kids are lucky to get all the experience and knowledge it takes to make a farm work.
Master plumber here, 40 yrs., not trying to rain on your parade, but be very, very careful working on hot water heaters,boilers, ect. Make sure you know exacly what your doing, and operation of unit, because they can be very dangerous, farm looks good

Sorry for the loss of your dog. Water heater looked pretty rusty inside. A water softener would make the water heater last much longer. You can also change the anode inside the water heater. I used to get about 5 years out of a water heater. Then I got a softener and changed the anode periodically. My current water heater is pushing 20 years old. Just a thought. You have a great family.

My folks used boric acid mixed with water when we were kids for pink eye. These days I use a multi purpose solution, for contacts. It has boric acid in it. Hot wash cloth compress works well too.

Hope that eye heals. Water heaters these days are not made very well. We've had 2 or 3 go bad in a vary short time. We have had ionic rods inserted to help stop the corrosion from inside. Those rods have to be replaced periodically. Also flushing the heater out every month also helps

And they seemed to get better and better the longer we got into the video, seems that your treatment worked good..and btw I love the sound of your old red truck, the turbo scream of it is a song I never will grow tired of I also keep my thumbs that the heater will not cost to much to get working, heating water to the cows is important for the girls, and its sure a lot nicer to have warm water and not cold Had that happening when I was a teen on the farm, we had to heat water by boiling over a fire, that was a crazy adventure for sure, will never forget it doing it in the middle of a snowstorm :D P.S the dislikes is the cows that didnt get fresh grass delivered to their bellys :D
