I appreciate everything your doin here man , I’ve progressed by a long shot , just from watching your videos. I’ve learned more from you than my actual service manager lol. Thanks again brother 👍
Bright/intelligent is how one would describe Taddy Digest. Who else would have thought to run the heat through a separate relay/contactor? Saved the poor lady $500 bucks. That's what an excellent HVAC tech is all about and his customers must really appreciate his expertise. Thanks for sharing.
Watched til the end and show the process of elimination proved bad thermostat wiring. Good show.
I like to see that your videos are gaining popularity taddy. You da man
thanks 👍 brother 🙏 💙
Tadd.. you're a troubleshoot genius bro.. 👏🏽
Thank you bro

Great content can you do the actual hooking up of the heater to the relay and contractor
yes absolutely
Good video. I liked the way you figured it out, Step by Step and showed us. That is the way to do a video. Tell us about that multimeter that you used. I have not seen that brand and in the market for a new one. I gave it a thumbs up and subscribed. Hope the rest of you follow suit and give this guy a big thumbs up.
I wanted to see you replace the thermostat wire. I wanted to see *how* you replace the thermostat wire, even if it seems like simplistic pain the butt work.
I wanted to see the bad place in the old thermostat wire too, and how it shorted between conductors.
Okay deal I will do a video of me replacing the wire

Great videos.
Thank you brother please share My videos when you can.
Great troubleshooting
Nice job! thanks for sharing!
🎉 thanks for the video bro 🎉.... JJ.. Jonjon..
Any time!
To test the t stat it self, you can put your meter on continuity and test the pins on the back of t stat where it connects to the wires on wall, you should only have continuity between r and c, if you get continuity on the r to w, y, g etc the t stat is bad.
Very good my friend yes sir that is Great idea
Good info
Thanks
You're awesome I made the comment before you finish talking the last word you said was I have a video on relay and that's what I was exactly going to ask you thanks did I tell you that you're awesome
Thank you so much
I really appreciate you watching and your kind words
Great video very informative thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
My dad must have been a broken AC unit because he always blew hot air.
Great Video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
If I connect at the thermostat terminal the wires O and B together, and the manual says do not connect both, is that a reason the transformer keeps frying? Or should I look the short somewhere else. It already blew 2 transformers within a period of a month.
You're probably going to use the C terminal instead of the B terminal because you're referring to the common wire, and then you are going to put your reversing valve wire to the O Terminal
Let me know if that works
Can you show how to replace thermostat wires?
yes absolutely
Before you replaced the thermostat you could have checked continuity between R and W.
You are correct, but I would probably have done the same thing since 9 times out of 10 it would be a thermostat. Since he already had a new thermostat and tried it , He eliminated the thermostat as being the problem. Keep up the vidios and good work, we all get better with age.

Split A/C 410A gas - low pressure is 120 and high side is less than 200? What should I do
Most likely add some refrigerant
High side should be at least three hundred
