Canelo is still underrated, humble, patient, composed, gritty methodical and high fight IQ. He just goes about his business and patiently imposes his will with maturity beyond his years. When I was 21 I was a kid by comparison.

Agreed. You can tell that Mosley is just there to get a paycheck. Even at the age he was in this fight, he should have had a little more pep, a little more hunger and dignity and ferocity. By round 5 he was just going through the motions.

I’m Shane’s biggest fan but he took some punishment in this fight. I think it did some damage. What heart Shane has, what a champion. Saul is a monster and phenomenal talent.

I score it 119-117 Canelo. I was rooting for Shane to win. However, Canelo and Mosley, both put on a great performance and are two future hall of famers. Kudos to both, love them both.
I normally detest these types of matchups between older legends well past their prime and young dominant power punchers. That being said, I'm glad Mosley was able to put on a competitive performance, land a decent amount of his own hard punches and finished the fight standing. Was a great performance by both fighters with Canelo landing his signature power punches and Shane landing sneaky power punches in between his flurries of half power shots. This fight was a testament to the greatness of both boxers.
