    I've waited for this fan to be back in stock for a couple of months. Finally got it delivered today. It's awesome. The dual power source take the cake for sure.

    I saw your video and bought 2 of these fans. They are excellent.They are super quiet and move LOTS of air. I use them to cool me off on muggy afternoons working, as well as use it on my patio gazebo to cool me down when tipping back a cold one.Well worth the purchase!See if you guys can review the new Ridgid 18V Jobsite Blower - I want one of those as well.Ridgid is finally coming out with some really neat accessory tools for their 18V lineup!

    Ridgid is now starting to bring more 12v tools at a good price!
    Also nice feature about the ac dc option which I like more.
    Good vid and
    MAY THE TOOLS BE WITH YOU!

    love the quiet operation and the dial adjustment switch and the fact it can run off a cord for unlimited runtime, I'm with you guys the Ryobi is a fantastic fan for the price, tough choice....I'd probably go Ryobi as i have a couple of their high capacity batteries for my nailer! nice review guys, cheers!

    Unlike Milwaukee's fan, I really like the fact that you don't need an adaptor to run the fan with house current.

    The duel power is what makes this fan. Nice review.

    cool fan, it would also be great for a power outage. and what would be really COOL is if they made a adapter that is the shape and size of the normal battery only it would be an adapter with a cord coming out the back so you could run any tool off of a wall outlet.

    Ridgid really seems to be stepping up their line lately. All the reviews I have seen on the Gen5X stuff has been positive. And they seem to be adding to it. Are they making it the middle market between Ryobi and Milwaukee.

    • @Bigchuck678
      @Bigchuck678 9 лет назад

      Russ Webster they really have, but since ryobi went to the green tools, many of ridgid's tools have trickled down to ryobi. Both Ridgid and Ryobi are really stepping up!

    I see the crew has some FANtastic jokes going...I'm just wondering how much dust all these fans will collect on the paddles since this will be on the site most of the time, anyone have a dyson at there house no stores ever ave them plugged in and the price is crazy

    More tools need the dual power source. I really like just plugging an extension cord into the tool rather than having a pigtail coming off the tool.

    Thanks for the great review guys! Have a question though. For whatever reason, HD don't have this fan nor milwaukee in their stores, so I can't stick a battery and test them. If there would be your choice to chose one between Ridgid and Milwaukee fan, which one would you get? Also, if to consider taking one while camping, to let it run in a tent over night to move an air, which one would be better in your opinion? Is milwaukee much more noisier? Wil l we see the battle between two? Thank you.

    Not sure I like the "static" dial or what ever it is called. I would much rather have it click into position. This way I know it will never wear out and start slipping to different speeds. Also, did the Milwaukee have a plug feature? I can't remember. I definitely like that it just has a male end to accept a female plug end. Very simple. Very functional.

      Me also. The guys in the vid just really weren't excited. And if I was looking for a tool platform the way these two guys were I wouldn't be convinced to go with Ridgid. Luckily for me I did invest in team orange and have not been let down. Love Ridgid products. Makes plumbing go easier

    You guys always say you're going to have a tool fight, but then you never do. Get back to some tool fights. High torque impacts dewalt vs mil. The fans. etc.

    Cool fan I think its better than than the Milwaukee to be honest. I don't know why Milwaukee got the worst fan design out of all the TTI brands.

    • @fiftythreeer4696
      @fiftythreeer4696 9 лет назад +1

      I kno right you would expect their premium brand to have the premium fan . I also think the LEDs they put on the x5 drill are great I don't know why they didn't put em on the Milwaukee drill

    • @wildgoose6596
      @wildgoose6596 9 лет назад

      Dr, I agree the Milwaukee fan seems like a base model. One thing it does do is shut down before draining the battery too far. Apparently the others don't all do that and warn you to check your battery level when using the fan. So that is a necessary feature in my mind.

    SQUIRREL!!! Focus period... but focus on what your trying to say and know the answers before you start rolling? Loved the intro music, laughed historically when you claimed to be the best.
