Great review team. Seriously considering one of these, even though the Crosstar variant is only available with a standard combustion engine in NZ (sadly).
Great, detailed review as usual. I've had three Jazzes, and my current Jazz is still going strong. I like the idea of a slightly more plush interior and power train refinement, but the premium is steep. I'll probably get a second hand one in due course.
Thank you for the most comprehensive and very informative review I collected my new Motability EX yesterday and was just browsing to see various reviews of it. All that I've watched are positive and it's just seems to be the style of presentation that differs. I am a big fan of the Jazz so this is my 5th and I've felt no need to change brand over the years because it has always delivered, in my opinion, excellent value along with absolute reliability, comfort and interior space and I jokingly call it my 'van' when the rear seats are down because it creates so much extra carrying space It's a sort of 'If it ain't broke , don't fix it kind of thing'. I just love them! I'm sure this latest one will deliver and I only need to familiarise myself with the new techy controls.
Great in depth review thank you. I have a crosstar on order and only because my better half wanted 2 tone paint!!! It’s very expensive for what it is but one crumb of comfort is that Honda cars apparently hold their resale values pretty well against the likes of Suzuki. We will be using this as a “bridge” car on the way to full electrification once the infrastructure for charging is better organised and ranges are extended by improving battery technologies.
What an excellent and comprehensive review. I have a series 2 Jazz - best bits are the twin dash cup holders, the twin glove boxes, and the magic seats. This new series 4 looks great (and much superior to the series 3).
Excellent review that I watched (along with the CarWow review) before buying a Crosstar. Why a Crosstar? Well, I wanted a new EX but due to supply problems in early 23 it proved impossible to obtain so the choice was between a 7k mile EX and a new Crosstar (found via CarWow). The latter came with 5yr servicing, Honda dashcam, several bodywork and wheel refurbishments over the next few years. Including trade-in it was, naturally, more expensive - precisely £1 more expensive! An issue I take over the review is that the sign recognition system is absolutely dire and whilst it might recognise a speed limit, for some reasom it quickly 'forgets' it and defaults to a 'no show' of speed limit. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? In all other respects the review is completely accurate and we are extremely happy with our choice. Average 68mpg.

I like the clever engineering in the new Jazz. It's just a bit uninteresting in terms of exterior design. Neat but a bit uninteresting. Like the look of the Crosstar version but it's so expensive. I think Honda have missed a trick with the Crosstar. They should offer it in a lower spec rather than just the top (and very pricey) EX trim then they might attract a wider audience.
