Have more questions about Battle Spirits Saga? I might have answered them in the new rulings video👉ruclips.net/video/jCFxfQkg62I/видео.html
This type of content is what the players need 👏👏👏 Well done great vid ❤
He is right this video is great
I liked how you clearly explain and then give an example after for each ruling. I hope to see more great contents!
Side note, if you lose all your life cores at anytime you lose the game. Ice shield doesn’t revive you from 0 cores.
Super handy video, as always the editing is on point!
Bro that last one with Elk and Ice Shield is straight up disgusting, we'll need some interaction against burst cards in BT02 at this rate
Location in Comprehensive Rules:
#1: page19, 9-4-2
#2: page13, 7-1-5-2-1
#3: not specified in CR, likely outside ruling
#4: page19, 9-3-2 and page20, 9-4-2-3
#5: not specified in CR, likely outside ruling
#6: not specified in CR, likely outside ruling
#7: page21, 10-6-1 and 10-6-6
#8: page16, 8-5-3-1
#9: page17, 8-6-3
#10: not specified in CR, in ST03 FAQ
Great video
Super helpful!
This helped alot! Now I have to retain the information..
That elk ruling is gonna confuse a lot of people lol
Another attacking ruling that is related to deadly balance. The attacker must survive to do damage, if it is popped in the first flash window the attack fizzles.
What was that sheet you were using in the last example? Also does burning force need to kill exactly 2 or up to 2? Im assuming its the former.
So would deadly balance activate beldegors immortal? But removing a core so your spirit dies wouldn't?
Hi I have a question about some rules:" If one of my spirit requires 1 core to be at level 1 and 3 to be at level 2 can I leave it with 2 cores on it? And If my spirit requires 4 cores for level 3 can I add an additional core to it making it have 5 or 6 cores?
For point two, the attack is only blocked if the defending spirit is on the board after the first flash window, correct? If a spirit effect, burst, or flash effect removes the spirit from the field before it can be exhausted then the opponent must choose a different spirit or allow the attack to go through directly.
You're adorable, if you ARE a small bird. And I'm leaning towards the idea you may not actually be a real small bird, in which case I'll let it slide, as you're rather informative.
What happens if my opponent has heavy tank curiosity in play and i reduce the BP of a mech to 0 or remove cores from then until they are destroyed. Do they get destroyed or are they being exhausted??
does armor red protect against confront ??
Maybe a dumb question. If an effect refreshes my spirits after they have attacked, can they attack again? Or is it just one attack per spirit per attack phase? I assumed the latter was correct
The former is true. Unless a card effect says otherwise (like Holy Elixer), if a spirit is refreshed after attacking during that battle step, they can attack again.
If I initiate a block, and then activate a flash affect (paying the cost with the cores on the spirit I am blocking with) does the block still resolve if that spirit is now at 0 cores?
Yes. The blocking spirit would be self-destroyed due to having 0 cores, but you wouldn't take any damage from the battle.
can soul cores be removed like regular cores? via purple effects for example that tell you to remove an opponent's core from a spirit and put it in reserve.
correct its still a core it is just also THE soul core.
I have this common card Dinoman Tyrannoid that says it counts as Lv3 if it's my only spirit. That means its bp is 6000 instead of 2000 by default? If so then that seems quite busted. Can someone clarify?
What happens to the spirits cores when the spirit gets returned back to the hand?
They go to the reserve.
Thank you!
Hello men, i can respon a burst effect whith a flash card or awaken card?
Don’t think so since it’s not a flash effect it’s a burst
Pls allot of these vedio vert important
Rules question: deadly balance and armor: purple. Does db get around armor because it makes me select, or does armor see that it is still getting selected because of my opponents purple card
No. Because deadly balance says select. So your opponent has to select a spirit without armor purple.
Got tricked by this one at an event as well. In my mind I parsed the card into MtG terms, treated armor as hexproof and deadly balance's effect as 'both players must sacrifice a creature'. The hexproof part is more or less correct, but the card still reads destroy target creature, it's just the other player that's choosing the target.
@@andrzejponiatowski1677 yea a lot of the wording on the cards make it confusing. Especially the Elk, ice shield interaction.
I think we can all agree the Elk/ice shield ruling is bs. if you didnt lose life, how exactly did you get the shield burst? but at least deadly balance works they way i expected
Core are spirits life enegy
can i kill a spirit that have - armor purple - with - curse -??
Yes; Curse does not select.
I noticed all these rules are the same ones that the original battle spirits already explained in the anime in one way or the other.
"Armor" works differently in Saga than it does in OG Battle Spirits.
@@robbinstcg ya, in the early episodes of young Dan clash (other name for confront) didn't work against yggdrasill which had armor
True, but OG Armor also protected against non-targeting effects. Armor doesn't do that anymore in Saga.
Would deadly balance affect armor units?
Spirits with armor cannot be selected by deadly balance. Thus, if your opponent plays Deadly Balance and all of your spirits have "Armor: Purple," then none of your spirits can be destroyed.
@@robbinstcg those were the rules we used just needed clarification thx
im just still gonna call it depleted
That last one is a huge red flag. How are we supposed to know how things work in a card game if bandai can just come in and make whatever ruling up. The card burst condition clearly says "when you lose life".
