You think it's huge, but they likely have to pay their own managers, stylists, etc. It takes a long time to shoot one film/drama. They also have long breaks in between their works. Lastly, press/promo work is usually included in the contract.

Don't fall into the trap of believing that being an actor means youll make a lot of money. Those are the ones who "make it big", Jenna is kinda one of them. Its hard to break in, theres alot of rejection and its not as glamourous as you might think, nor easy. Thats just the reality you need to know before doing acting. Some actors work over 24 hours on set, doing vigorous stunts and training. Developing professional acting skills alone takes years and talent. Even as a conservative person myself I feel that actors are paid way, way too much money. Acting is not an easy job for most but it's definitely not a hard job by any means, and it has very little value in terms of contributing to society. It's ridiculous, really.
Firstly, acting isn’t easy coming from someone who does it theatrically. It can require hours upon hours of training, vigorous stunts, you name it (and I mean over 24 hours. I’ve had 12 hour rehearsals before, not in any way “easy”. ) Second, then don’t watch any movies. No more music, no TV shows, no nothing. Life would get pretty miserable. Yes, acting, just like any entertainment, is important to keep us sane 😭 most people wouldn’t last a day without any art form because life would pretty much be nothing. And yes, acting/performing, is an art.

Why are the arts so under appreciated. I hardly doubt that after a long and stressful day, the first thing you pop open is a history book. No mother fucker, you're opening Netflix, watching anime, reading a fictional book, or playing video games. They help people by making us escape everyday life and youre so incredibly naïve to think a million other people couldn't do your dads job, THATS why he is paid under $100,000.

Actors are paid based on entertainment. They are entertainers who entertain you, they are paid based on how many people watch, and how popular they are. Those numbers are there for a reason. Don't fall into the trap of believing that being an actor means youll make a lot of money. Those are the ones who "make it big", Jenna is kinda one of them. Its hard to break in, theres alot of rejection and its not as glamourous as you might think, nor easy. Thats just the reality you need to know before doing acting. Do it because you genuinely like doing it, not only for money (youll be disappointed).

Some actors work over 24 hours on set, doing vigorous stunts and training. Developing professional acting skills alone takes years and talent. Some actors even go as far as to changing their bodies or serious method acting to get into character that could permanently affect them. I’m saying as an actress (theatre) myself, it’s not easy at all. It actually requires work hun lmao

Even as a conservative person myself I feel that actors are paid way, way too much money. Acting is not an easy job for most but it's definitely not a hard job by any means, and it has very little value in terms of contributing to society. It's ridiculous, really.
Firstly, acting isn’t easy coming from someone who does it theatrically. It can require hours upon hours of training, vigorous stunts, you name it (and I mean over 24 hours. I’ve had 12 hour rehearsals before, not in any way “easy”. )
Second, then don’t watch any movies. No more music, no TV shows, no nothing. Life would get pretty miserable. Yes, acting, just like any entertainment, is important to keep us sane 😭 most people wouldn’t last a day without any art form because life would pretty much be nothing. And yes, acting/performing, is an art.
