Damn! I loved this cartoon/anime as a kid and the music stuck with me since then. I dedicated 10 years to find the OST from the show! :O I finally found it! Every song gives me goosebumps... :')

The track Happily Ever After is used in episode 51, about 13 minutes into the episode when the sun rises
Thank you so much for this, Alfred is one of my fondest childhood memories. I watched and re-watched the series all throughout my childhood and to this day can still talk along with a lot of the script and know most of the audio cues. It's such a shame they took it off Netflix. Younger generations should watch this as well, I feel there has been no cartoon since that can compare. I used to have all episodes recorded to V2000 tapes, but sadly those tapes degraded over time and the system died. I still have an SD copy of the series on my harddrive, but unfortunately episode 27 is damaged and isn't watchable, only the audio works without stutter...
Sorry to correct you, but Happily Ever After is a different tune from the track you mean. It's the same melody, yeah, but not the same track. That melody has been used in episode 1 starting at 20 minutes and about 30 seconds, and episode 42 at 16 minutes and about 30 seconds. The one from episode 1 and the one you mentioned from episode 51 are probably either the same, or one has drums and the other doesn't (Erik van der Wurff confirmed that he made many tracks that are just another track he made but with some instruments removed for variation).
Sad about the tapes :o I got everything on DVD which is pretty okay quality-wise. Somehow I lost my Magie 3 DVD though and that one is HARD to find o.o

Fun Fact: The cover picture of "Zo vrolijk" is from an adult picture book containing somewhat "explicit" images, drawn by Francois Schuiten and Claude Renard.

Although it is just a cover version. The original song is called "Bleib" from the Bavarian musician Haindling (Hans-Jürgen Buchner) and the original text is about begging someone to stay together.

I miss about 20-40 other tracks. But yeah I also miss that one. Never said I had everything. This is all that I have been able to find so far.
Perfect! Also love the special gift CD. I contacted Erik about 10 years ago with the question if it was possible to get some score tracks from Legende van de Bokkerijders. But it wasn't possible...

Splitting up all the audio tracks from the video doesn't seem that attractive... it would be better to work from the original CDs for the best possible audio quality.

Since you are a collecter, do you happen to have subtitle files for any of the episodes, im trying to create dutch subtitle files to help someone learn the language, but it's a lot easier if I can just translate the already created srt files instead of making time stamps myself
Nopes I'm sorry :( Not a single dutch release has dutch subtitles. There were some japanese fansubs of a few of the episodes, but I have not been able to find those again :( Those DID have the dutch audio translated into english subtitles and then put under the japanese DVD. Basically they weren't translating the japanese into english, which... made for some interesting mistranslations.

Made by Amayirot Akago who created a 4-part retrospective on the series (highly recommend watching it by the way!). I have trouble telling which track was used at the end of episode 17 Friends from Outer Space.
Ik heb moeite met herkennen welk nummer werd gebruikt aan het eind van aflevering 17 Vrienden Uit de Ruimte.
Je moet je voorstellen dat in deze video niet alle muziek zit. Wat in deze video zit is alle muziek die ik heb kunnen vinden op CDs/LPs soundtracks van andere films/series etc. Die specifieke muziek die je noemt is gewoon nooit uitgegeven en Erik heeft me die muziek nooit gestuurd :( Dus het spijt me, maar ook in heb dat nummer niet.

Hello, do you maybe happen to have misisng episodes in Japanese language?
No... I ripped some audio from the Japanese version (cause that one is 24 fps and doesn’t have the PAL speedup) to try to make complete background music edits of tracks that I didn’t have. But while I was doing that my source got taken offline. I didn’t have entire episode audio’s saved though :o
Very sad because it seems nobody managed to save all episodes. I still think someone has them saved privately in Japan from TV recording (since even those that were archived are TV recordings) but is probably unaware of its lost status...
Ah well, even in 2020 I won't lose hope of tracking them one day :)
@@OldClassicGamer Yeah... I wish I had a complete collection too. I was almost through the entire series with my little project :( Hope they turn up some time again! They weren't super good quality btw. But at least it's something.

Great compilation of tracks even though some great ones are missing.
-Track that plays when soldiers are going after the mice in episode 25 and when police was after Alfred's friends in episode 49.
-The one where Alfred and others were watching the rainbow in episode 49 and when they find the pot of gold in episode 50.
I don't know what you want me to do about it XD This is all that there is (with a few minor things missing like the instrumental end credits). I can't make tracks appear that have not been released or at least more than I've already done :o
But yeah there's literally hours of music still missing, cause it's not been released and it's all been tangled up in Universal rights mumbo jumbo.
@@Dougurasufilm I am not blaming you for anything, just wanted to list my favourite tracks, and when someone sees my comment they know these specific tracks won't be in this video, so it can be helpful too for those who don't want to take time to go through a very long video like I did to look for these specific tracks.
My intention was not to say that you are responsible for not compiling every single track there is in the show. I think you've done a great work compiling all these songs you have and showing which episodes have them. I also found some songs I couldn't find before, so thanks for that.

@@tommytowner792 Wow jeez, don't overreact. I am a little proud of this compilation, yes. I also contacted the original composer to get a bunch of tracks that were never released before. I'm not a super God at all, but I did a lot of work gathering all this stuff. Like I don't want to end up being passive aggressive again, but I did just give you free super rare stuff :/ I never said the viewer was scum, just that the way you phrased that felt a little off to me. I must've been mistaken, I apologize.
