New sub - good job! NUX makes some cool pedals. I don’t think in the same league as the big boys like Strymon or the boutique guys, but they’re a terrific alternative to experiment or build a board on a budget.

I second that!! He reviewed it....week or so later one listed identical on reverb and I bought it. I am still in awe....It plays as good as any other guitar and better id even say. The frets feel like "butter" and stays in tune...the pups are quite articulate and I love it as is!!! Have a beautiful day friends. I use mine more than I do my strat now. hi jon i want to buy 2× blackstar debut 50r..( stereo) with the nux delay& reverb and the nux fireman ..for small/ medium gigs..or the t rex mudhoney 2.. a light weight rig.. what do you think?.. ( i have a fender strat pro 2)❤❤❤
Also I use an overdrive to give me any boost that I may need past what this pedal is able to give me. Heavy bands like mastodon use a tube screamer with the gain set to low and the mids /highs up past 12:00 for that extra oomph in solos. I get a pretty good tone with the fireman that sits well in a mastodon mix
@@brandonhirdler I don't need overdrive pedals. I play with high distortion on whatever pedal I use. Overdrives, to me, are for rock or blues players. My pedals only need a noise gate and volume. I equilize between the amp and whatever pedal I'm using. It always worked for me.
