I have a 55 taylor same pipe. Problem I'm having is I'm having oil come out the bottom of my exhaust. I have gaskets inside and springs are on the same way as you. Any advice?

Either put zip ties over centre or clamp will stop it from leaking

Are you going to have enough gearing options for that engine with the 2.0

Yeah got a few options running a 28tooth so could go down a few teeth if I want more torque will see how it goes and decide the best gearing.
