- Using the "Detected by" triggers within the Eden Editor wasn't giving me the result I wanted for a stealthy mission. I'll walk you through my script and how it works.

I' m currently working on an infiltration mission and I have the AI down...however...Detection code is quite cumbersome and this is amazing but WAY over my head. Good job man.
Love this video, you got great scripting knowlage ! a lot of mission makers have a problem with the default stealth mechanics, i will give this a shot :)
I am working on a metal gear scenario and have a reflex mode/ alert system in place but I am currently using the trigger to enable it using the regular detection method and it sucks! after I have killed an enemy it almost always goes back into the alert phase even if the player is not in the trigger and the enemy is dead.
Any way to make this repeatable after a certain amount of time so that if you are detected there is an alert phase for a bit then when everything dyes back down the script will be able to repeat?
I've even tried just using the knowsabout function in the trigger condition and adding it to the triggers detection method so that both conditions have to be met before the alert can run but still no luck, works sometimes but other times it just activates out of the blue with no enemys around. Your method seems to work alot better I just don't know how to have the script run more than once
I want to learn how to make AI Laze only without using their weapons. Can you make a video or explain?

Good stuff bro! Would you be able to explain what you mean when you say pass the function through the player? How is that different than just using empty brackets? Cheers!

@@SayUnkl hey man, thanks for this video. i cannot find any scripts on that linked page. is there another way to get your scripts? i copied the entire script from your video. but i still get error messages that there is an wrong variable in the third line of your initPlayerlocal.sqf
