I would like to ask you something: how did you recorded yourself over the music, I mean did you mixed/ synchronized your recorded drums with the original tune? did you played it back in loud speakers and played the drums along with it? I have a Zoom Q3HD and im looking forward to record myself over some playalongs, just as you did with Soul vaccination

There were parts in there that I wasn't quite sure what he was doing. You've done all the leg work for me - so now the rest is easy! The drums sound good, the feel is there - it's not everyday i come across someone playing to a song like this correctly.
I have a vid of one of their live performances where I zoomed in on David playing this. He uses 2 snares on this, very interesting. I did see him perform this back in the 70's when he used 1 snare and I sure he did as you have done here, plus you got notation from his book.

When painting a wall this large wide space can be painted holding the paint brush with match grip, creating big broad strokes but when it comes to getting the corners in the window framing you're going to switch to traditional grip giving you the facility to feather your strokes . Garibaldi's drumeo interview he revealed he had to relearn all of his songs/rhythms because traditional grip gave him facility to articulate a different percussive feel...
