I have a feeling to have a full release will take a very long time since the story has just begun. This update provides a very cool roguelite mode, similiar to the Chalice Dungeons in Bloodborne but there’s still a ton of story content left. Which is amazing btw since I have no doubt that the story will be amazing. Ori devs are just too talented man.
The CEO's recent comments about his approach towards art and gaming made me respect him so I came looking for this game and... WOW. I always wanted a game with this kind of mechanics and drawn out camera but with soulslike environment. I'm Preordering right now. The CEO definitely lived up to his reputation
Please do not let the low number of players affect your motivation. The game will attract the attention of many people when it comes to full release. And many people are waiting for it to come out of early access :) Also this is an awesome update, thanks for your works

Genuine question... The game came out April 18, 2024 and currently as of September 29, 2024 and its 24 hour peak is 309 players on Steam... With that being said, does the game rely on a heavy multiplayer player-base for it to work? Or can this game be completely 100% playable solo every piece of content? I haven't bought it yet since I wanted to wait for it to get more content. Also, does t he game have a "seasons/league" mechanic like a Diablo or PoE?
@@randomdude8897 The game is in early access. You can play until a point but the campaign isn't complete yet. The game is a solo experience but there will be multiplayer also. For now there is a rogue - like mode in the game to test your builds efficiency. I don't know if there will be "seasons/league" mechanics. The game is beautiful but certainly not finished. If u want the full product, wait till release.

Totally agree. I really want them to make a “No Man’s Sky” type of comeback and get that 90% positive rating they are going for. I haven’t bought the game yet…just waiting

The new crucible is fun af, was a bit sceptical about the rougelite system at first but it truely improves the challenge by losening up the grindy feeling by giving you stuff to experiment with. Good job :3
This is INSANE! Love what you've done with No Rest For The Wicked. Hope you continue this path, and as a 100% singleplayer gamer, I hope you don't stop making updates relevant to us that play alone, offline. Too many crappy mmo's out there already, nothing like this!

just wait for co-op release. you can have tank, healer and mage and warriors. the typical rpg aspect and it will be fun to do dungeons and raids with massive guilds and communities like world of arcraft have
I've already put about 133 hours into this game since launch (lots of alts and the old crucible runs) and had put it down pending more content. This looks exactly like the sort of content I was hoping for, can't wait to get back in a play a bunch more time. Keep up the good work Moon Studios.

I'm going to check out the game with this update. After one of the first patches the game had become unplayable to me. I was unable to beat even the first boss due to not being able to dodge in time with lags, freezes and fps dropping to the ground. But I'm not worried. I'm sure the game is going to work well for it's release and that's when I plan to really dig my teeth into it. Also that change with how you can use weapons even without the proper stats is HUGE improvement. It will allow to try out weapons and their skills before deciding to commit to one thing or the other.
Excellent update. I played the game when it first game out and enjoyed it, but it was a pretty short experience. I'll probably wait for a few more updates before jumping back in. I hope you guys continue on with this game as your focus, it has so much potential.

Keep up the good work, this is the most BEAUTIFUL game out there, the art is amazing! PS: Can we *please* have a nice green sword vfx/trail for poison just lightning have? I would love for all elements/ailment to have weapon trails like lightning have ^_^

It's the first video game for which I wanted to contribute to the development by purchasing it immediately from EA. Trailer Masterpiece, I can't wait for the final release so I can start a new complete adventure. Magnificent trailer soundtrack!!
I have been looking at this game for awhile and didn't get it at first. Just seeing a dev studio do this level of work and performance upgrade and working on all the feedback they are getting. I'm buying this game just out of principle because that is so rare it feels like today.
I'm still waiting a bit on this game at the moment, but man, this is such a high number on my to do list. It looks gorgeous and super deliberate in its delivery and that's what I love. Can't wait for it to release its coop mode too, might do it with the GF!
