- Pretty accurate, just measure a 1 ft distance and also my ceiling compare to actual measurement
- Easy to calculate area, volume. Also adding and subtracting distance was possible
- Bright white backlit screen, easy to see, goes off in 30 seconds
- Changeable reference level which comes in very handy in tight spot
- Operates on 2 AAA batteries which were included
- Tripod thread for mounting was a big bonus for those who need to have accurate measurement

It does the job. Excellent product.
The big hanging question for all these reviews is, is it accurate? I'll figure out how to use it, I just want to know if it's accurate. These low effort reviews just to get a free device, are tiring.
Mine after 3 years is 40cm off. And i don't know if i can fix it because is fixed error
Yes, they work great. I just got the orange and black Tacklite 40 meter model and it is better than the user. What I mean is most people will just hold it freely in hand and shoot lines but for best accuracy fix it where it cannot move and it will beat even a steel tape measure.

They measuring tool works great.
Is there a continuos function where it is measuring all the time? I.e you have something that need to go to an exact position on a wall and you have got the measurements already and you want to mark it out

I want feet and inches so 6ft 2 inches. On your measurement it says 6.22 feet, what does that relate to in feet and inches?

I think that your problem is easy to resolve: open the device and search the buzzer ( it can be like a metallic disc or like a little cilinder, usually black ) remove it or cut the link on the electronic card

Yes, very well under low light conditions. These are dead on accurate if fixed in place before measuring. I am getting the 60 meter tripod model that comes with degrees. So you can do some limited range surveying with it and maintain a perfect horizontal line. You just need a common camera tripod and a plum-bob.
ok, partially solved!
to entry in calibration mode you must push the "unit" button , keep pressed, after push "measure" wait 2 or 3 sec, release it and after release "unit". This procedure permit to entry in cal mode , but on my device ( a 40 m distance ) not have effect .... after regulation ( +/- 9mm ) you must push unit to save the adjustment.
push the unit button and then just one time the measure button.
how precise is the masurement ?
+carolago100 Down 1/10 inches. Seems pretty accurate to me. It also depends on the surface you're shining it to. I did some ceramic tile that were waving and found it slightly off but 1/8 of an ich but it really depends on where I point it on that tile. The laser is the exact measuring spot.
