If you skip on the lavaloon puppet and save all your medals, you can buy the 400 - 500 you need from the shop since there will be medal offers. BUT, if you are planning on doing that you might aswell spend the extra money for the event pass for loads of good rewards.
I hope that next year, the event will be about B.O.B., O.T.T.O. or the master builder, mashup'ing normal and builder base troops. It would be a fun concept making each year about different builders😅

i am sure maximum players won't go for new ability as it doesn't help too much than fireball i am sure on this point too that Fireball is going to get nerfed soon in the upcoming months so that players get forced to use new ability

+they should make it so upgrading apprentice builder to some level like 5 or 8 will allow us to remove obstacles or upgrade walls when the builder is busy.He is an apprentice he should at least be able to remove obstacles by himself,and upgrade walls.This will make upgrading walls a lot fun and easier
I think the new epic equipment is going to a strong pair with the fireball, because right now I'm using the fire ball with the warden and most of the time the warden just die after I use the fire ball. 😂

Kinda said that you have to miss One deco as an F2p , but it's still better than the last one where you had to leave all the exclusive decorations.
Previous decorations is expensive even I as p2p cannot get all of it...
