Actually, you've just touched on the exact notion why I despise most superheroes in general. If you have all this power to solve problems but don't because of the ethical or logistical concerns, you're worthless as anything other than a propaganda piece. The only thing superheroes really do is smile for cameras and cause incalculable amounts of damage and casualties. In the real world, they would serve no meaningful purpose most of the time, and we are better off for them not existing.
