I am an Ethiopian who lived in Sudan for 10 years during President Jafar Mohamed Al Numeiri. I know every corner of Sudan, like Khartoum, Wad Madani, Sinja Abdela, Sennar Tegato, Kosti, Babunusa, Damazin/Rosseiris, Juba, Wau, Mujiled, Abu Na'ama, Kurmuk Al Zariba etc. I like the Sudanese people very much, they are very hospitable and Allah fearing people. Today I am living in Europe and sometimes I meet the Sudanese community in Europe to chat with them in Arabic. God bless the Sudan.
So glad to hear you got your bike through. I see some greenery....I believe most people think Ethiopia as desert. So glad you can show us this country. Stay safe and looking forward to the next video.

What an amusement you brought to my RUclips experience. Such an adventure I only dream of. You got the tenacity and the wisdom to share this of an impossible task of which I say you make it seem like "biking across East Africa for dammies" of sorts.. I tip my hat for you mate..
Appriciate your videos bro. I do not always have the time to watch but if i make the time its always worth my time. Thank you for making such high quality videos. I recently found out about your channel and I enjoy it. I am glad you go to where the real people are and where everything happen daily. The fancy place I agree is boring.
Very glad for you Yves, your happiness to be back in Ethiopia is evident! Enjoy yourself there, and I look forward to seeing more about your time in the country. May the Lord keep you always 🙏 ✨️
I'm sure after such along time, when you drink beer, it feels soooo goood Cheers my friend And it's not just about one beer, it's about some kind of freedom that allows you to live your life. Stay safe
The reason you have to deposit money is foreigners would bring motorcycle, Bike and even car to use during their stay. However, they end up selling it without paying custom tax.
Merci Yves de nous emmener si gentiment avec toi dans ton étonnant voyage plein de surprises ou d imprévus. Bonne continuation et à bientôt. 😃 Depuis l'Égypte 🌴
Kino, yes that border area seems way on the extreme side but glad you are in Ethiopia. Since watching from the beginning what I love about the videos at least from my perspective 1) You provide a very nice view of what its like in those areas 2) Random food reviews - not in this one lol 3) Touring various markets/areas 4) Also you are very friendly with everyone around you. Stay safe and keep them coming. I would throw out some recommendations but I've been very impressed from what you have provided so far.
Goodbye, Eve. We enjoyed my clips in Sudan. I hope your trip was beautiful and unique in Sudan. We apologize for the children who stole the flag. I think they were joking with you😂 because they don't steal your money or your bags. I hope you will come back to Sudan again. There are many very beautiful places that you have not visited. Such as Kassala and its mountains, and like the beautiful forests of Kordofan, such as the rare and beautiful animal reserve, and eastern Sudan, Suakin Island, and the beauty of Al-Shawati, but not miserable again, God willing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😇😇😇😇
Unlike Morrocco and Tunisia, (grape) wine production relatively recent - Italians circa 1940s but they have produced mead (honey wine) for hundreds of years
Thank you for the coverage of Sudan، I have been watching your videos about Sudan since yesterday, since u were on the border between Sudan and Egypt till Ethiopia. Thank you for showing our country in its best light, I really learned a lot about Sudan from your videos, which me as a Sudanese I did not know about Fur culture. Special thankful for Brother Gamer(moon😅). He did his duty and honored the guest as much as he could. As for those who did not accept the camera, they are not usually be on media, but they could not justify it in a better way due to the lack of ability to communicate in a language other than their own, and perhaps they were a little rude, but I hope that you will accept and forgive us. I would like to apologize in their place. We also regret the attack that happened to you by some rioters on the road between Khartoum and Wad Madani. You rarely find this kind of thing. Thank you for everything you have done for Sudan and I wish you a safe and enjoyable trip. I really wanted to wish you a visit to us in Sudan again, but unfortunately we no longer have a Sudan😭😭💔💔💔💔. Everything has literally been destroyed, and it is possible that you will return again and find that more than half of those you met have been killed, raped, and genocidal due to the war that broke out in Sudan more than a year and two months ago. Thank ya for everything and stay safe 🙌🏽❤️🩹
It's very sad, I live near the hotel where you were staying in Wad Medani, and I couldn't meet you. hope you will visit sudan again . Good luck my brother.
Yives, welcome to East Africa. As an Eritrean and an avid cyclist myself, it will be disingenuous if I said am not disappointed in you for not traveling through Eritrea. May I add it is the country where super cyclists are coming from. The first black cyclist who won major tours in Africa and Europe are Eritreans. In any case, I wish you success. Bon voyage !
they're really shooting themselves in the foot considering the amount of money they're losing from tourism with these customs impositions, and all for a few government officials and policemen profiting, im presuming. still, im glad you're there and the prospect of a year (maybe!) of ethiopian vlogs is wonderful news, i think my favourite african country

Thanks for this very inspiring and positive video about my country. I am deeply ashamed of the unnecessary regulations that happen these days to scare off tourists from visiting this beautiful country with its diverse landscapes, people and traditions. Ethiopia is loosing a great amount of foreign currency because of unprofessional officials making false decisions and harm the core economical benefits.

12:48 Welcome to Ethiopia Yves😊❤
A shame about this customs issue. I think it prevents them from building a strong tourist industry. Excellent vlog! Stay safe.
The country should make money! And he said he can afford it!
You are right its shooting ourselves in the foot but a lot of the laws don’t make sense either
and its starving us of tourism down south too. the cape to cairo route is more complicated now
They should make the payment reasonable not to deter tourists
