BEST OF | Qantas Boeing 747 Takeoffs & Landings ● Melbourne Airport Plane Spotting

The Qantas Boeing 747 is a well known gem in the aviation industry and Melbourne is fortunate enough to have them visit on a regular basis. With the 747s being retired and replaced by new, smaller but cheaper aircraft to maintain, we've been very lucky to still retain a 747 service indefinitely. In a few months, Qantas will start receiving their new B787 Dreamliners which is quite bitter sweet as it means that more of their 747s will be retired and their routes taken over by the Dreamliners.
Featured here is some of the variety of Qantas 747s we've been sent over the course of the last few months, this includes both the B747-400's equipped with RB211s and CF6's and a large range of their B747-400ERs from a variety of our best spotting locations.
