I 100 percent agree with you putting birthday party of no return at the bottom the vulcher like tallion reminds me of the chessey old monster movie the giant claw.
I wish goosebumps was at scary as they used to these hall of horrors were like the end of the scary ones but things change and now a day the OG 62 would probably be YA horror, You agree? and i know for a fact series 2000 books would get banned these days.
You’re mostly not wrong; the new series are definitely not as dark in tone, MOST of the time, but there are certain books I think are definitely darker than most (if not all) of the originals lol
