LISTENING TO LIGHT: The Titanic tragedy that changed the world

- On the far side of the electromagnetic spectrum where the waves are long, and the frequencies low, information travels from here to there and everywhere at the speed of light. It wraps the globe in threads of artificially generated waves that allow us all the modern conveniences of wireless communication, television, social media, knowledge at the tips of our search buttons, all the way to AI.
In the early 1900s, the world had not yet decided to embrace the use of radio waves entirely, though it toyed with it like a cat tediously annoying a mouse without fully committing itself.
Business remained dominated by the pen and paper, and information took the long way to almost all its destinations....
Until the fateful night of April 14th, 1912...
When the tragic sinking of the Titanic stole the Edwardian worlds innocence overnight, and simultaneously sparked a race into the quantum future of wireless technology that would have made H.G Wells and Jules Verne blush at their lack of imagination.
There is no doubt that the discovery of electromagnetic waves and their seemingly limitless potential, has brought untold benefit to humanity over the span of approximately 120 years, as technology has raced into an unimaginable quantum future at light speed.
But, just as with every other form of light, is it possible that too much of a good thing... has the potential for harm?
We have broken up our investigation into the invisible parts of the electromagnetic light spectrum into more manageable bites as we found ourselves overwhelmed at times at the sheer amount of rabbit holes we fell into along our journey.
