You will know if your props are damaged by the change in Sound pitch. Didn't realize I damaged my Mini 2 props early in the flight and returned after 15 minutes of flying with a different sound but No performance change. After landing, I realized the front 2 right propeller tips were chipped and broken off. It's possible to fly as long as it's just the tips. When you work on down the prop into it's pitch area then, she's going down. 😊 flying.
scrapping the ground makes more sense then a rock. Both propellers on one side were broken past the orange tips. A rock wouldnt hit both evenly like that

I’ve been flying for a year now and I’m always keeping an eye out for your drone videos so I can continue to learn how to capture great video from flying my drone. As always, thanks for your videos, Jeven!
Great colab guys and fantastic info, it's great to hear this from guys as experienced as yourselves, shows how easy it is to forget basic stuff and how important it is to have those preflight checks thanks Jeven and Aldryn 👍
Glad this collab happened (again). Quality info and tips right here. Always learning from you guys. Can’t wait to fly my own Mavic 3!!! Hopefully soon…
Firmware updates should be allowed to be delayed for a certain amount of days or indefinitely, I get they are needed for all sorts of reasons, but ultimately the user needs to have more control and only if its some utterly crucial critical issue the firmware needs to be optional.
My first drone I ever bought I tried to get really close to a body of water near the lake, well I got too close and it became a submarine. That was the first day by the way. The next drone I bought I was flying in my courtyard and tried to get a nice shot above some trees. Well, I was a little too low and got my drone stuck on top of a very large tree. Luckily I got a hold of a tree company on a Saturday and $100 later they climbed up and got it. I fly the spark only because I won’t spend big money on a drone that I’ll end up ruining. 😂😂😂
Bruh ! As amazing as the video is especially for a first time flyer, add the timeline tags it makes it easier to know what or were are the points and for us to go back to when we need them

Battery life. That one even hits us older fliers. What sucks is here in Japan, the full size batteries are not given with DJI drones. So they can only fly, max, 11 minutes. Wind, 5 minutes and heart stopping flies!
@@JevenDovey I still disagree. For context, I’ve done professional drone work for the discovery channel and science, and there’s rarely a time I fly during the day without a filter. But I did liked the video and despite my years of experience I still learned some new things!

So, I would say the opposite, most topics should or could be refreshed at least once a year. I might not watch it but I see the value ;)
I think you forgot to mention that the main use of an ND filter isn't only to achieve motion blur but to cut down on exposure when shooting on a bright day especially if you're shooting manual and you want a specific look. I have found that shooting 4k 60p in broad daylight still over exposes my image by +2 so using an ND 32 for example can help me keep those setting and have a well exposed image not just motion blur for i.e 24p or something.
Yeah ND is sunglasses. But the point is that on the Mavic 3 you can use your Aperture or Shutter Speed to get proper exposure and you won't notice the high shutter speed when you're high in the sky. However when you're closer to the ground you'll want to shoot with ND to get motion blur.
I'm flying with drones since 2015 and it was kinda hard, to get my Phantom 2 to the drone, that I need. So I mounted a 3D Zenmuse gimbal under the drone, to attach my GoPro HERO4, I also attached a OSD module and a wireless video transmitter and needed to buy a lcd with inbuilt receiver separately. With the new drones, like the DJI Mini 2, everything is ready to fly, you don't have to modify your drone and it weights just under 250 g, when my Phantom 2 was just under 2 kg.
Thanks for releasing this today. This morning I crashed my sole Mavic Mini into a tree. Dumb mistake on my part and I'm totally bummed. The drone is trashed. It's makes me feel a little better to see some experienced pilots making mistakes too.
I crashed my DJI Air 2s during my first flight but into the grass, it wasn’t that high up. Are there any diagnostics I can run to check if anything internal is damaged. There is not a scratch on the drone.
I'm new to drones :D (DJI AIR 2S user here) but I have to say that I love how you guys collaborate with each other in these kind of videos. No dumb competition and free hate like in other segments (like gaming - where I come from). 10/10

However, still, I couldn't connect to the mobile apps as once I uploaded the MRC Pro app on the top of the left hand of the mobile, it said Not Connected; I tried many times but still didn't; know how to connect it, while RUclips video shows the green sport (High Speed)label and another question I'm planning to use this MJX Bugs 16 Pro B16 in remote places in Himalayan Country in Nepal, may I know how to connect to the Wifi in the mobile apps where there may not be the internet access. #10 I would not agree with the thesis that in the air (high altitudes) a nd filler is unnecessary. On the contrary, a flock of birds (you never know when they'll fly into the frame) also requires a nd filter (motion blur). Clear and sunny day also requires a nd filter, at least a nd 16, (if we are talking about manual exposure and ISO), so ... (sorry for the grammar). Otherwise the channel is great, just keep it up !
there are many ways of setting home point can you also cover that? like you are filming with Mavic 3 flying and you drove 1km feather how can i correct the dorn so that it know here I am. Instead of flying back to the original take point?

Also something to mention is that when you do updates you need to check and make sure the settings don't default back to basic settings.
