The last one is the best in my opinion. I always use that one for its adjustability.

    Hi there,
3:20 Delimbing with the hatchet - would a large knife not be a more suitable tool for that sort of job? It'd be lighter, probably sharper and easier to wield and carry (sheath). I'm thinking of my Cold Steel Trail Master here. Even sharpening the sticks.
17:26 Tri-pod hanger. When we were Boy Scouts (about half a century ago!) we used to use a length of mattress chain for pot-hangers. About 4 ft long with a sturdy hook at each end. Hook the top end around one pole and hook the hook into a link. the hook at the other end hooks the pot. Dead simple. Raising or lowering is just unhooking the hook, raise/lower the pot and rehook! One could use proper light chain as well, but we used mattress chain as there was always tons of it lying about in the garage. Mattress chain is wonderful as it is dirt cheap and easy to work with as it is quite soft metal and bends easily, yet it is very strong.
    Hope you find this interesting.
