Ram could've got married. It was his "choice" not to. And looking at many people who are single right now out of "choice", for various reasons, I believe we should respect that. His fulfilment comes from his memories with jaanu, and his adventurous job. That's immensely rare and respectable. I have never met anyone like Ram. Have met plenty of Jaanus though.. who live their lives out of duty and obligation, yet reliving their nostalgia to stay alive. All my respect to both Rams and Jaanus in the world. You are rare. You are valued. Pls retain the goodness of your hearts. God bless you. Love from Sri Lanka ❤️ Edit: This movie is the most realest love story I've seen in many years. Keep up the good work, team 96!
The Ram narrative could seem captivating in a film. Putting yourself in Ram's position and leading such a life would be agonizing until the end of his days. Is your life worth living for others? Yes indeed, when you live as a family, but not when you are worlds apart. I still revisit my nostalgic memories, but won't be living in the past. That's my opinion..
Even in fantasy, it was so so real. Vijay Sethupati n Trisha lived their roles. And that music, hits chords of the heart. So wish she saw him at the college gate n he still didn't move on
At 05:11 jaanu is shown opening/closing a floppy disk. Perhaps a small reference to say Jaanu is narrating a story from her stored memory of what could have been. In the first flashback when Jaanu says what really happened when ram came to meet he..she is shown having a tiffen box. Great example of visual story telling.

No it isn't that way ..ram loved janu olny he can't feel varsha that way .... jaanu's lie about their relationship is what it should have ended .the way we want it to end .their scattered dream.By telling that story they try to escape the reality that it never happened .she speaks her heart aloud .about the love that never united, together, yet together and united and forever
@@RT-cl6vi There are many non Tamil-speakers here. 🇱🇰😎🍿 I watched the movie yesterday and was shocked by the genuine portrayal of the pure love they have. This whole scene was used to show how their love could have flourished in an alternate universe. 💗💗 Janu describes what she felt as the reality. WoW. What a movie!
Varsha is too young for him. She definitely has a young girl’s crush on him…that’s clear. But Janu and Ram had unfinished business…they needed this night for Ram to ever be able to possibly move on and let someone else in. Some loves are unfulfilled. But the love is still real. And they never knew whether the love they had for each other was mutual or if it was one sided…maybe that was the closure they needed. Because their love is real, he won’t want to blow up her life. And she won’t want him to remain unfulfilled forever. That is unconditional love. But they still needed this night just so that they could know the truth. But even if Ram does fall in love again, I hope it would be with a mature woman who is an equal and not a young girl who idolizes him…that would make him creepy. And his whole character is that even Menaka, Urvashi, and Rambha would be safe with him. 😂.
