If it doesn't enable the BT by pressing the knob turn the radio off holding the SRC button and leave it off for about 10-15min then turn it back on I had the same problem and it worked for me.
are you serious it says on the button pairing 2x redial. that means push redial twice. if he was a real genious he could tell you how to know which truck is your on a lot with about 80 cascadia trucks.
If you turn your key left of the OFF position. The trucks gadgets like AIR and windows will continue to operate, subsequently the radio does as well. At least for a while. It seems like every some odd minutes the radio powers off and taking my AUX connection with it. I am often watch a video and pump my sound into the trucks speakers. It is very annoying. It is a Freightliner Cascadia 2018 that I have, and it is a company truck. I do not have administration access with other parts of the truck (if you understand). My question is would you (or know where I can find info on) how I can disable the auto shut off feature of the radio?
Should be in the on screen menu on the dash. I haven't had that question before, I know most companies take all the owners manuals out of the trucks. I'll pull up the manual on Monday when i go into work.

I have the 2022 Cascadia and didn't have a problem hooking up to the Bluetooth but what I am having trouble with is that I have to put my phone on speaker during a call because the microphone don't work while hooked up to the Bluetooth. And this only happens in my rig not inn any of my other vehicles. Any suggestions?
Bryan Joseph Kelley so I found this out on my way home, once your BT is connected go through the different sources and you will find a BT source for music if that doesn’t work. The screen with the bars coming up it click that and then select that output.

Well I would make sure you're not having a software issue, there is a new reflash the dealer can do to correct a lot of issues. Or the radio it self might be bad. It's hard to say.
I have this radio in my new business class Freightliner B truck. I can get the radio to pair with my iphone, but it won't play the sound from any of the aps through the radio. Do you know if the radio has to be in a certain mode or on a certain station?

If the connectors fit into the rear of the radio it should just work. I do not think there is programming needed. I will look tomorrow when i get a chance.

My 21 does that and it's annoying. Bt when truck starts, defaults to radio or wx and it's always loud. Would be nice if it just didn't turn off when restarting, or remembered where it was.

If it does please show how to make hands-free calls. I currently use a blue parrot (B450XT) headset connected to my S9+ phone. The s9+ doesn't impress me. It sucks with voice commands. Google Assistant doesn't wake up through the headset and Bixby seems to be bug filled pile of garbage. It's obvious I can make calls using the stereo but...how????? Where's the mic or can I somehow use my headset through my phone?
I believe the mic is up near the windsheild some place... I'll have to look at a truck when one comes into the shop.. to use Bluetooth, just call like normal once it paired and just start talking. The mic will pick up your voice no problem.

I think that's the mic behind that little amber LED. I'll give this a shot and reply again to say how it works. I'm hoping I can use voice commands instead of having to dial and violate the hands-free laws and policies.

Either there is something wrong with the head unit, or it's not a bluetooth unit. If it says bluetooth, then something is wrong with it.

I have the 2022 Cascadia and didn't have a problem hooking up to the Bluetooth but what I am having trouble with is that I have to put my phone on speaker during a call because the microphone don't work while hooked up to the Bluetooth. Sounds like the wiring for your mic is crushed some place in the dash. Get it to the dealer while it's still under warranty.
