  • I made some photos using the latest image generation models that all the cool kids are using these days.

Juan, honestly, your images convey something that's always interesting. The A.I. seems to mess it up every time, like the faces or arms or legs. I think you're safe shooting with your camera for a few years (I hope).

This is the best application I've seen for this so far.
It's cool to play with the image generator, but using it to make variations on your own photos brings more of the human/personal touch that has been missing.

      Thanks! I really thought so.
I have a project that is barely starting now, that will be a collaboration with another artist (a traditional one) and will use this tech as well. This whole new tool is very exciting it you want to create stuff. The only people I see complain are those who want others to not be able to create stuff ;)

And theres me thinking you were going to show some of YOUR own new work
I've watched a few youtubers on this subject of this and as a real newbie(14mths) to photography i got a bit annoyed why buy all that equipment wheres i could just mess about with AI,is this the end of photography,i wonder
    I rather the originals IMO

Haha well, I am going to Paris in a month so I'm sure there's going to be new work soon.
I think the reactions to these models are really interesting. Death of photography? Nah. It's a new tool. It is an amazing way to explore the embedding space of this model, which basically means it's a fancy way to interpolate between the features that make up an image.
I've been doing photography for 25 years and machine learning for 7. I'm not scared.
